[It's almost embarrassing how quickly he falls asleep, but the last few days have left him completely tuckered out and so he drifts off within minutes, if not seconds. It's safe and comfortable, something familiar in a strange world and even though there's no physical contact involved just knowing Helix is right there is good enough. He could reach out and touch him whenever he wants to. He's not alone.
Luckily he doesn't get enough time to fall asleep all too deeply, and the movements against the mattress soon stir him awake. By the time Helix reaches out for him he's aware enough of his surroundings to not be spooked, easily shifting his position to let the smaller boy curl up close to his chest. A small, sleepy smile tugs at his mouth as he feels Helix relax against him and he even feels comfortable enough to drape an arm around his shoulders, holding him close.
