Because he sees that uncertainty in the moment after they separate, that second of hesitation in which Ritsuka tries to find the right words. He wants Ritsuka to know that as they are now, he doesn't need words. It doesn't matter that Ritsuka's kisses are inexperienced; they're Ritsuka's, and that's what matters. He never wants Ritsuka to be uncertain again.
He also knows just how impossible that is.
But any move he might have made to reestablish a kiss is halted by the sudden eruption of confetti, followed by the robot's voice and the sound of paper being processed through a printer. It doesn't take more than a few seconds for the bot to spit the finished sheet out. Wordlessly, Soubi bends to pick it up, though he remains close to Ritsuka when he stands again.
