Not really 'no one' per se, obviously Reid was concerned enough, or something. He wasn't 100% sure on the why, he didn't think the man COULD care about him, but he was here anyway, so that's all that mattered. He was trying at least. He just didn't believe that anyone else BUT Reid really wanted to be there for him right now. Even if he had almost rattled off a list of others in his head.
He listened with interest as Reid began to tell the story, explaining their way of coping. By the end of it he realized that 'one good thing' he'd had was gone. His one chance to really fight what was plaguing him had walked out that door without any explanation as to why. Even if Aidan has promised never to abandon him... he had. He didn't even so much as stick around to ask why or talk to him about his reasons, he just left.
His expression tightened as he turned his gaze away once more, closing his eyes and trying desperately to latch onto something ELSE he could use as a shield against the things plaguing him at night. But he couldn't think of anything.
"So what do you do if you don't have anything good?" He muttered distantly. Everything good he'd found he lost... he really felt like he destroyed everything he ever touched.
