Helix's paranoia was running a little more wild than necessary, so when Reid slipped in past the threshold he was doing what he could to watch behind him. He wanted to be sure that Reid had come alone after all, no back up, just them. Of course they probably weren't alone anyway. Considering his sentence to the Chain Gang he was willing to bet a few bots weren't far off to keep an eye on him... just in case.
There was the softest, smallest of whimpers as he sunk down into the couch, one hand pressed to his brow and fingers carded in his feathers. "I know..."
He was trying to get a grip on himself, there was no reason he should fear Reid or feel this way at all. He didn't think Spencer would hurt him, he wasn't worried he was armed, he hadn't killed anyone or done anything wrong. He was just sort of mixed up. He felt foolish to tell the truth and with a deep breath he forced himself to calm down.
"I don't know why I called you. I wish I knew." It didn't really mean it was a mistake though.
