[A small part of Ritsuka doesn't dare to hope that Soubi is actually here, the part that tells him that he'll be waiting all day because of some momentary delusion born out of homesickness. But then someone comes rushing towards him, and it's Soubi, actually Soubi, stopping before him with an apology of all things, and that horrible, wounded look he gets that Ritsuka normally can't stand, but the fact that it is so perfectly the look that he can't stand makes him love it in this moment, because it is so wholly Soubi's own.
He throws himself into Soubi's arms almost before he finishes talking, wrapping his arms around that familiar waist and breathing the smell of cigarettes and watercolors, too overwhelmed by his own emotions to say anything but:]
