[ whoa, whoa, whoa. you have to stop it, reid, because he's really starting to think that you're just ~reading his mind. it's kind of unsettling. it had been his less-than-straightforward way of claiming that he finds himself rotten. or, yes; he thinks that he's a criminal, without actually having to say it.
he isn't a changeling, of course, but uncle—father's brother—insists upon it. 'He's too lovely to be human. I don't believe it. He's not my little nephew,' is what he says about the whole affair. it isn't far off from the truth, though. (not that uncle arnold will ever be fortunate to find out that he's been, in a sense, right all along.) so, again, a blink of disbelief and then alois is giggling, almost helplessly.
because this time it's ... really, really funny. unnerving elements aside, it's hilarious. he actually laughs so much that he falls off screen onto his side where he can curl arms around his stomach. ]
