Helix took it all in, nodding silent with his eyes cast down in thought. He shifted back to lean against the counter, crossing his arms over his chest as his brow furrowed with obvious consideration. He half-shrugged when the other was finally through with his suggestion.
"I'm not attached, if that's what you mean. I could care less where we live so long as it's not the shelter." Too many people. He liked it here in another sector, in a building not as heavily populated... as far as he knew he was the only one. He hadn't seen anyone else really come and go and that's what he preferred.
"We could just... find a bigger one in this building? There's bound to be something." Plus it'd make moving easier, even if he didn't really own much of anything TO MOVE. All the furniture and things were here to begin with.
He fidgeted a little uncomfortably as he finally spat out his feelings over having a roommate. "... you're really the only person I'd want to live with."
He tried to suppress the slight color that washed into his face with admitting that. A hand snaked up to rub at the back of his neck, suddenly realizing just what that statement sounded like. He cast his eyes off across the room and completely away from Aidan as he tried to correct it.
"I-I mean, the only one I can really stand anyway..." Other than maybe his sister.
