[ she won't deny that she's worried about him. with her here, who knows how the wolf in him will react? and she won't be able to keep the nature and length of her relationship with tara - not to mention what had happened to tara - a complete secret, either. it was a big part of who she was now. she couldn't just ignore it.
but she had to take into account oz's feelings, too. she knew she'd hurt him on that day so long ago, and there's no way to make it better again.
especially as his words bring tears to her eyes again. she chokes on a sob, half because she's missed him, too, and half because of tara's loss still being fresh in her mind. ]
