[Something was weird. Not just waking up in prison with no recollection of ever being caught, but the whole conversation with Helix as well, as short as it had been. A nagging sensation more than anything, and no matter how hard he tries Aidan just can't put his finger on it. It's only been a week, yet something in the others response made him think it had been much, much longer.
He can't figure it out and so he stops trying, waiting patiently on the cold beach for the blue boy to show up.
When Helix finally arrives he brings that sensation back with him. Something about the way he hesitates, the look in his eyes... it's too intense for that short a time. Considering how things had been before they parted this is the last thing Aidan expects but that doesn't stop him from following his instincts.
Without a shred of hesitation he closes the distance between them, wordlessly wrapping his arms around the younger boys shoulders and pulling him into a firm embrace. ]
