[ Neil places his hands on Tieria's shoulders none-too-gently, hanging his head low. There are many thoughts whirling around in his mind, and he can't ignore the ones that stem from all the though he had given to the situation that other version of him — the one that had arrived temporarily — must have been going through. Perhaps it was their common elements that brought him and his version of Anew together; perhaps they had no one else to turn to, or everyone else had turned their backs on them. These thoughts, strange at first, gave him a new perspective on the current pair's relationship: her and his brother.
Maybe he and Lyle aren't so different. ]
[ Neil looks over at Tieria, along the bridge his arms have made. It's a guilty look. Maybe he failed the other man, somewhere down the line. Maybe he still is. But he can't help it.
He gives those shoulders a pat and draws the hands away slowly. ] Then maybe... you ought to start there.
[ He steps back and looks out toward the city where, in a few short moments the "sun" sets and the projector's image springs to life across the canvas made by the dome's artificial sky, dotting it with stars. Neil can't even remember whose world these were supposed to be from. ]
