action.
[Ukitake has stepped away from the network for the time being in order to focus his attention on the troubling conversation with the young man who has, apparently, sold his soul. He wants not only to understand, but to know if this youth is a danger to himself or others, and to know if, perhaps, he can be of some help. Perhaps he is even hoping that the situation is not as dire as it seems; he will admit that his experiences with Hollows and his position as a Soul Reaper captain may introduce some bias to his perspective.
When he spots the young man in question nearing the home he shares with Orihime and the others, Ukitake rises from his seated position and moves to meet the boy. He thinks, briefly, that the boy seems far too young to be getting into the sort of trouble that endangers one's very soul, but then he recalls Ichigo and Orihime and the friends who became caught up with them in the affairs of Soul Society. It stirs some sympathy in him, and his expression becomes more patient than severe. After all, the young man is at least willing to explain himself. That's a start, isn't it?]
