[ The Innovade recognizes the symptoms all too well, that of self-loathing. A Meister or two have displayed that to a certain extent. He knows of his own crimes, he knows their gravity. The difference between him and sobbing little boy beside him is that he believes his crimes necessary, so much that for the longest time, he will not apologize for them.
But he's not here to engage in contests.
He recalls all too well the initial shock at his arrival -- not having Veda, not having the crutch that had given him so much control and power over everyone and everything he had laid his eyes on.
It is not in Ribbons' nature to coddle, and so Alois' tears are really better served elsewhere. He chooses not to speak for the time-being, for he thinks that there are times when people prefer to say something, rather than hear something. ]
