It's all clear enough, in Jara's eyes. They've both asserted their wariness, and their reluctance for hostilities, and their intent to stand firm if a challenge is issued. But neither of them wants that challenge, so further posturing is unnecessary--besides, he's far bigger than the little black creature, surely he's more dominant? It obviously isn't a Yeerk, he could probably dispatch it if need be. He just doesn't need to. Right?
That settled, Jara offers a simple grunt of acknowledgement, tail settling and arms falling to his sides, relaxing into a more natural posture. He simply tilts his head at the little creature now, more curious than wary. What is he, and why is he here?]
