[To Yuuki, the slight dip in temperature is a welcome relief. Ever since a year ago she's found that hot weather affects her a bit negatively, at least when she compares to before. Though today is maybe still a bit warm for her tastes, it's much nicer. So it is in a short floral print dress, and loose pigtails that hang low on her head, that she walks beneath the protection of her parasol.
Swaying a little, she catches herself and rights her footing, tears prickling her eyes as she yawns, widely.
I'm exhausted.
Between the last several days she's worked herself to the bone. And of course the events surrounding Lelouch and Euphemia have yet to leave her mind. The toll it took to remove that spell was harsh, particularly between school, training, sending out her butterflies to explore the dome, and thinking up a peaceful solution to the task force. Almost none of it is easy.
Maybe I should take a night to myself. She licks her lips, ignoring the ever present thirst within. Even her eyes, normally a clear brown are tinged with the faintest color of crimson. Unconsciously she reaches into her bag, pulling out a small, discreet, container. Sliding the black lid open she pops one of the many tablets within into her mouth, managing to suppress, for once, her grimace at the unpleasant affect.
I don't think I'll ever...become used to that feeling.
The feeling, as thousands and thousands of consciences enter her mind in a mixed blur. It really is unpleasant. Tucking the small case way, her eyes lift and she pauses, blinking. Maybe it's because the wind is wrong, but she hadn't noticed the presence of him approaching until now. Their last conversation had turned out very poorly.
Zero...
Two blue butterflies twirl around his head. Ah... that, why do they do that? Sheepish, she stills her hand at her side, suppressing the urge to lift a hand to her head, chagrined. Whenever she doesn't actively peer through the tiny eyes of the fluttering insects and leaves them to their own devices they tend to follow him, if he's near. Internally drawing them forward, they fly ahead, before returning to her side. She pauses, feeling a little awkward where she stands. She speaks though, as he approaches.]
Hey. Sorry, if they were bothering you... I just let them wander.
