[She isn't sure what's going on, but she feels the hands and then she isn't sure what she feels. Warmth? Something like a tickle in her mind?
She has no idea what Yuuki is seeing. She doesn't know that this very moment she is witnessing her brother, Lelouch, dressed as Zero, but without his helmet on explaining the geass. The harmless example—"Kill the Japanese"—becomes deadly. She doesn't know that Yuuki can watch her grabbing the pistol and racing down the hall and out to the awaiting crowd. She doesn't know the vampire will see her fire that first shot into the crowd, killing an innocent man before Euphie gives the order for the soldiers to join her. And then the massacre will ensue, not even ending when Lelouch, her beloved brother, shoots her.
Euphie has no idea that is going on for Yuuki. In fact, when the other girl's hands fall away Euphie doesn't even realize it at first. There is something so much more jarring going on in her mind.
Silence.
There is no cacophony of impulses inside her trying to make her fulfill the command. Not even a hum. It's so welcome she doesn't question it at first. She only embraces the returned clarity. But it is only a moment before she turns with questioning eyes toward her healer.]
...How?
Yuuki, are you all right? [She crouches down beside her.]
