Re: [voice]
Something like that. Given the right motivation and enough resourcefulness to overcome obstacles, almost anything is possible. You might hate or question yourself for the rest of your life, but as long as your heart and mind don't fail you completely, you can still do it. People are capable of great and terrible things, eh?
[The sound he offers is somewhere between a chuckle and a sigh; he can always trust Itachi to cut straight to the heart of the matter. If you can't make your own choices, then what do you have, really? For all the lying and manipulation of the world, what little control one has should be exercised as fully as possible. People choose to keep things as they are, knowingly or not, so they should be able to choose to change themselves, and their circumstances, as well. In choosing, people get to engage all the pain and struggle of life, and reshape it by their own will, consequences and all. Choice is freedom, and knowledge, and awareness, and acceptance, and power, and potential, and capability, and responsibility. People need to be accountable for what they've done, when nearly everything they do is willful, and so much of it is terrible, even if it is done in ignorance.]
I've been doing my best to not hold expectations for Marina--you'd know circumstances here better than I would, Itachi-san. Anything particularly noteworthy?
