He's going to die.
The thought scares him but...he can't do anything about it. There's nothing left for him to do, he can't get free...the only thing he can do is accept it. So he tugs on that hand, pulling himself closer to Akito. Even if it's not the real Akito...even if this is just a trick...he's glad somehow, that the last thing he's going to see is him.
His free arm curls around the other boy as he closes his eye. The dark's body finally rebels, making him inhale on reflex. Water rushes into his body, weighing him down. Everything starts shutting down...Agito can feel himself dying. Only one thought is left in his head now.
