And then he does something rather odd. He presses his lips to the back of her palm. There are veins there. He doesn't know the difference between the veins and arteries, except that these are not pulsing as strongly.
Right now, he doesn't care -- blood is blood -- and his eyes (when did they turn azure like that? or glow?) glance up at her before he closes them once more and pricks her skin with his teeth. This should work much better... ]
