[Miranda stands a bit nervously at the entrance to the movie theater, looking around for Diva to arrive. She'd called to confirm they're outing, so she shouldn't be too late, right? Even if she is, Miranda knows the film won't begin before they enter, so it's all right.

But standing on here alone sure is nerve-wracking.]

[Miranda only stiffens a little and then manages to relax herself. She'll never understand this thing Diva has for touching people. Miranda isn't used to being touched. But they enter the theater and go over to the concession's stand and Miranda feels more nervous by the minute. What is she doesn't pick something Diva likes??]

Umm...Ch-Chocolate sounds nice..a-and they have the little chocolate chip cookie dough treats. Those s-sound good, right? [Unsure, but you can't go wrong with chocolate can you?] Two boxes of those and umm...a l-large bag of buttered popcorn?

[She has no idea what she's doing. Please just put her out of her misery.]

[ But Diva started walking, holding the cotton candy bags out at armlength and not paying attention to where she was going. She was far too fixated on the pink and blue fluff within to know if she was heading towards or away from the theater. ]

Oh--ummm....all right, then. [Miranda blinks and feels her face heat a little. Diva really does enjoy touching people... But she doesn't push her away. She invited her, so it was up to Miranda to make sure Diva is comfortable.

And just then the lights dimm and the screen at the front of the room flickers with light before brightening with more colors. Miranda speaks quietly.]

F-First there are previews of other movies, i-if I remember. After that the move begins.

[Miranda doesn't mind that, since it's not distracting, and Diva seems content enough, so she gets comfortable herself and focuses on the movie. The beginning was unexpected, she hadn't thought the main story would be a story within a story, but she likes it.

The servantboy being lost at sea upset her, but she didn't want Diva to notice.]

D-Do you think he's really gone?

Right...th-they did. [Diva doesn't seem to be enjoying the movie...maybe she would like it better the more they watched?

By the time they reached the point where the pirate had kidnapped the maiden, Miranda was so surprised.]

H-He said it. That means he's the servant boy! [Looks over to Diva again. Has any of this been interesting for her? Miranda been getting a little caught up in it.]

[Too close, Diva. It makes Miranda uncomfortable being touched like that, but she's slowly being desensitized by how hands-on Diva is. She doesn't want Diva to withdraw or feel bad about it, so she tries very hard not to squirm or flinch away, even if it does make her face hot with embarrassment.]

Umm...Y-You're my friend, Diva. If you asked me to do something, I-I do it. That's what friends do.

[And to answer the question.] I-I guess if we were just umm...joking between us, I d-don't see why not?

But she thought sh-she was saving him. She thought it would help him, not get him killed. [It makes Miranda tear up just thinking about it.] If she knew the truth, she never would have agreed to it, would she?

[The fingers on her neck make her flinch, but she manages to keep it from being an obvious one. Her neck flushes and the red creeps up her face.]

[It actually makes her squirm, because Miranda is ticklish and trying not to laugh during the movie. Her face heats up to the point someone on the other side of the darkened theater could see it. She reaches up to lightly take Diva's hand and hold it--because she really needs that tickling to stop--and smiles.]

Th-Thank you. I'm glad you're having fun, e-even if it doesn't seem to be to your taste.

[Miranda can't help but turn her eyes away then, cheeks so red she feels faint. She has the urge to cover her face, hide the blush, but Diva's hold prevents it.]

I--Umm...Th-Thank you. [So flustered and shew should be watching the movie, but Diva is so close it makes her want to squirm. What should she do? This is...well, Miranda isn't very sure what is going on, but she feels overheated. Her face might get stuck this way.]

Y-You're a very beautiful y-young girl yourself, I-I think, so...[she trails off, not even sure where she was going with that. She was just trying to repay the compliment.]
