[Her gaze swiveled back to Zero, the unhidden anger, bitterness seeping through his words, recognizable. She watched him silently, a tell-tale familiar ache in her heart, but she fought to keep it down, for the moment.]
Zero.
[Openly she faced him, drawing a breath. It was never easy, especially confronting Zero. Someone so dear and someone who has been so hurt. Her head tilted slightly, and she sought his gaze, sincere.]
I didn't mean it was dangerous here.
[On impulse her fingers curled, nesting into the bottom of her jacket. It wasn't easy, facing him like this, but she wouldn't run away, either.]
If you blame me for something...If there's something that I've done, or a part of me that you hate more than the fact that I am a vampire please just say it. It does't matter if it's recent or in the past.
[Jaw clenched, she firmed her resolve.]
I can't change the past any more than I can change what I am. But if I do possess your dislike or anger than I'd prefer to hear it directly and for it to be brutally honest.
