I had never seen the stuff before my capture. The clouds on my world never clotted the sky so, nor did they discharge water. And then, of course, there was no rain in the desert, only that cruel, wretched sun.
It is a very curious phenomenon. Since my capture, I have learned much about what the meteorological processes of Earth must have been like before the disaster.
