Game-wide HMD/Plotting!
Welcome to the MarinaNova HMD! This is optional, but encouraged.

• List your characters for which you'd like feedback. We have a form below if you like forms!
[Feel free to add 4th Wall characters]

• Leave your tactful and considered thoughts, questions, concerns, praise, suggestions, etc. for others.

We strongly encourage you to make this a dialogue. Find out what went into actions, decisions, and characterization and you may come to understand it better. Hopefully you'll also be in the best position to clearly communicate your own concerns. Results will be more satisfactory for everyone if one person isn't on the offensive while the other is on the defensive.

Avoid leaving someone a wall of text. This can be intimidating even with the most careful of wording and best of intentions.

Don't gang up on someone. You may have a different way of wording something, but unless you have something new to contribute, consider letting it go if there are already others saying it.

Be constructive and considerate.

• Since there is no plotting meme during months with an HMD, please feel free to do that here too.

• Contact a mod if you have any problems.

Link to private HMD if preferred: All of my characters have an private, screened, anon-supported HMD on their individual journals. I also have a mass-HMD for all of my characters here.
Catch-All Comments: I had a really crazy time in RL this month, which was why I was very slow with tags for most of the month (and part of last month). Thankfully things are smoothing out into something I'm used to and is a lot more manageable. I do apologize for how slow I've been and I intend to work on my tagging speed in the coming month. I am also very open to any and all plotting. I love plotting and building CR.

Comments: I feel like my introduction of Bucky has been very slow and not nearly as in character as I would like it to be. I would love any feedback about how he's coming across and pitfalls to avoid since he's still so new.

Character: Dick Grayson | DC: All-Star Batman and Robin |

Comments: Dick is a very different brand of Dick Grayson (coming from a world where Batman kidnapped him and then trapped him in the bowels of the Batcave to "see if he had what it takes" before he became Robin), but I'm hoping that I am still managing to bring out that core trait that still makes him Dick. I would love any feedback on what I'm doing right or wrong.

Comments: Itachi is one of the characters I seem to struggle with. I love playing him, but I have trouble building lasting CR with him and finding things to get him involved in. So I would love feedback on how I'm playing him (he's from a very unique point in his life--not-life), and maybe ideas or suggestions for things to do with him.

Comments: Laura is still fairly new and I would love feedback on whether or not I'm going in the right direction with her. If I'm making her too talkative or too distant or too aware of things, anything.

Comments: Miranda has gone through a lot of things in Marina, especially in what could be considered the recent past (just a week or two), but she's still trying to stay positive and optimistic. I've tried to tone down the stutter a lot as I realize it had gotten a bit out of control. If it hasn't been enough do let me know. I'm always open to any feedback about the direction I've taken her and whether or not her reactions and behavior have been in character for her.

Character: Richie Foley/Gear | DCAU: Static Shock | put_it_in_gear | ☣
Comments: Richie is in a precarious place where he's got friends, has plans for what he's doing in game (trying to build a communication network that the wardens can't access), but also dealing with a few personal issues that he's been hiding. I do not not feel like I have been expressing that last part very well, but I hope to do so more in the future. I welcome any feedback I can get on him and what I've been doing with him.

	Thank you! I kind of fell in love with Klara even though I didn't mean too. I had been thinking of apping Toul because I wanted more adults on my roster, but she ended up being a lot more endearing than I expected. Now I don't want to let her go. (Reply to this) (Parent)

I don't know anything at all about Laura, but I get so excited when I get tags from her. Her thread with Faith was great, and the one with Castiel is awesome! I don't know her voice, but I would say that you as an RPer are fantastic, because I always feel like I'm going to get something that will help shape my characters from your tags. I think she's a good mix of talkative and stoic, and that makes her really fun to tag. I like seeing characters that are a little bit different around different kinds of people; it makes her really believable, so. Bravo!

	Thank you very much! I try to keep even the ones that are a bit similar separate in my head so I don't overlap with them, especially considering that you can't always avoid overlapping CR between characters in games, either. All the compliments, and then some.

Especially Dick and Richie. Especially especially Richie, who we have learned is Zatanna's true soulmate in the destruction of private (and public) property. You're so knowledgeable about their characters, and it shows in your tags and the way you talk about them on plurk. It makes the tagging experience so much more rewarding when you know the person on the other end really cares that much.

In short, I will never stop tagging you because it's addicting and fun and please keep being awesome.

Thank you so much. I really worry about Dick sometimes that I'm not making him social or happy/cheerful enough, but then have to remind myself not to overlap All-Star!Dick with comic!Dick or YJ!Dick since he's still pretty different. I'm glad you think I'm going in the right direction!

And yes I probably do care a little too much, but so far it hasn't been a bad thing. Never stop tagging me ever because I love our CR so much. ♥

I feel like Bucky's voice sounds right. The tone you're setting or your choice of words for him just seems to fit. I'm not really sure what sort of pointers to give you, so I'm not much help here.

Dick, I'd love to have CR or threads with this kid. I've always been a fan of Robin, specifically the Dick Grayson version, so I'll be interested to see the differences with this... alternate universe version? Also I think Richie and Helix should chat a bit more, I'd love to see them geek out at some point over electronics or something.

I would like to apologize that I didn't get around to tagging your OC during 4th wall or that we didn't thread much with Nightcrawler, he was really shaky for me and I was kind of intimidated all around ;;

I have no real crit but I just want to pop in and say how much I enjoyed the thread between Spike and Miranda! I really liked how you balanced her shy mousiness with the inner strength that she actually does possess, and it'll be interesting to see if she manages to make him less of a dick.

It's also going to be interesting to see how Laura and Reid get along, especially once he figures out that this is the potential roomie Kitty was talking about after the transfer.
