Welcome to the MarinaNova HMD! This is optional, but encouraged.

• List your characters for which you'd like feedback. We have a form below if you like forms!

We strongly encourage you to make this a dialogue. Find out what went into actions, decisions, and characterization and you may come to understand it better. Hopefully you'll also be in the best position to clearly communicate your own concerns. Results will be more satisfactory for everyone if one person isn't on the offensive while the other is on the defensive.

Avoid leaving someone a wall of text. This can be intimidating even with the most careful of wording and best of intentions.

Don't gang up on someone. You may have a different way of wording something, but unless you have something new to contribute, consider letting it go if there are already others saying it.

Be constructive and considerate.

• Since there is no plotting meme during months with an HMD, please feel free to do that here too.

• Contact a mod if you have any problems.

no, jk. you're amazing and i love your characters. there's nothing to say about your faith that i haven't already, and i'm forever grateful that i get to play angel off of such a fabulous portrayal of her. she's her slutbomby self, and i love how she's been settling into the prison wrt finding her balance and relying on her past prison experience - while also being completely thrown by it, since marinova's a far cry from the california penal system.

cas is just so cas, and i'm enjoying getting to play with quinn's religious side. it's an aspect of her character that i don't normally get to do a lot with, and having her bond with cas is such a rare opportunity to explore something the series rarely touches upon in a positive way. ...or at all, but glee canon is a mess, so let's not go there, lol.

and sophie-anne was perfect. you were amazing at her, and i loved the thread between her, sook, and eric. if you want to voice test her some more, i would be more than happy to throw something up in a musebox, dressing room, or musechat. ♥

OKAY! i might take you up on that -- i'm working on redoing her application since i was a dumbass and forgot to save the one i'd had finished. whoops. threading will probably help me get my tush in gear...

Eruh!

I adore your Cas. Just one thread with him and Oz and I was all squee over it. I'd love to try some Derek and him too eventually just because Derek's faith is always in question and I love to poke him with anything of that nature.

But what I really wanna talk about is Faith. Your. Faith. I love her. I have never ever ever seen someone get Faith that right and yet not play her like a bitch all the time, leave her open to getting close to people in some ways open to redemption. You play her so deliciously layered that I just cannot get enough of her. I love her interaction with Oz, the strange friendship they have going on. And I love her interaction with Derek. I secretly ship them in my brain space but I just love that while they're so different they're also very similar in a lot of ways. I'm greedy and I want more of all of it!!

Aww, I was so happy that you tagged Oz in, and I'm happy to let Derek work out some faith issues on Cas, too. He might be happy to know that Cas has some serious doubt himself, oh noes!

asdlkrasdf YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL. I'm so happy to be able to play Faith off of a really solid cast. Honestly, having Oz around at first to be a neutral party did a lot to help decide which way she was going to head. Because she saw that someone from her past wasn't passing judgment on her immediately, she started realizing that maybe it wouldn't be bad to actively keep trying to gain back some trust. So, in part her trajectory in the prison is thanks to the cast, and thanks to you!

	MY TRICKY FINGERS my love for derek and faith is boundless, by the way. their stories being kind of similar and taking such different paths is going to be HUGE for faith, and it'll help her let him in a little closer than the other strangers she's met in the dome, so. I ALSO love everyone else you play ever. You always seem to have a really firm grip on your kids' motivations and voices. Faith and Castiel are beautiful examples of this. I need all the things with them. As mentioned on Parsnip's we need a TFW pow wow post sometime. Complete with their little dog. Also more Faith and Xander because I love them. More of all the things.

	no words exist to adequately describe how incredible you are at faith and cas, and bonnie when we played shortly elsewhere. not to mention you are awe-wait for it-some. you seem so committed to your characters and making them great and easy to engage while being honest about their social awkwardness. it works. i'm so excited to see where our cr goessss. Needs moar Faith and Castiel. OMG I loved tagging into his open post ngl, I was pretty excited when I got the idea and scrolled through to be sure no one else did the same scene. I love Cas, and I think you're handling him well!

I'm also pretty excited to potentially see Sophie-Anne. I do not have any feedback for her yet though and if you ever wanted to musebox to bounce her off of Sam (since they don't ever interact in canon that might be interesting?) I'm open for that. You did definitely show off her haughty attitude though and I don't have any complaints other than Do Want Moar please. I should probably read that thread with her, Eric and Sookie :|a

All you like, because +1 on this Helix and Cas thread right now. They are amusing the crap out of me!

I keep putting off the fourth wall tags, like a heel. I've got her app in now, and I am trying to hit all my outstanding fourth wall tags tonight, so if you want to thread that for a little while, I think it'll be good practice for me! And TL;DR Eric/Sookie/Sophie -- Sophie attacks Sookie out of spite, Eric chokes Sophie and then breaks her arm, Sophie doesn't learn to shut up and then Sookie fairy-blasts her. Amusing all around! :D

I can only speak for Castiel and what I have to say is that I just love how you have him down beautifully! It's easy to mess up Castiel in all his cluelessness when it comes to human interaction, but I just love how you handle that AND manage to bring out the humor without overdoing it.

I have a suggestion with regards to point 01. "clean up tags" -- I'm guilty of this myself, but what I usually do is that I put stuff in action tags like: "[ Castiel has made a good point about Topic B, and Sasha will get back to that later. In the meantime --] ~blahblah Topic A~" It has worked for me, specially if the two topics aren't the types to merge within the next two tags X3;;

To tell you the truth, I stopped watching SPN not long after Cas' first appearance (for reasons I cannot explain) so I haven't seen quite as much of him as I have of the Winchesters. That said, you're really nailing Cas'... je ne sais quoi in ways that make me very happy indeed. I can hear his voice so clearly even in just that one thread and I'm really excited to see where that'll end up.

I haven't threaded with Faith yet and that is not a thing that is okay. We need to fix this, alright? Soon.

Oh, thank you! I feel like even if someone doesn't know the canon, you can still describe how the character comes off to the person playing and they can deem whether it matches up with what they should be doing. So I'm glad he's been enjoyable!

Very fixable! Faith's been hanging out with Derek more; they spar at the fitness center as a routine blow-off-steam date. She and Reid could hang out and she can awkwardly try to be cool around all the damn cops...
