Welcome to the MarinaNova HMD! This is optional, but encouraged.

• List your characters for which you'd like feedback. We have a form below if you like forms!

• Leave your tactful and considered thoughts, questions, concerns, praise, suggestions, etc. for others.

We strongly encourage you to make this a dialogue. Find out what went into actions, decisions, and characterization and you may come to understand it better. Hopefully you'll also be in the best position to clearly communicate your own concerns. Results will be more satisfactory for everyone if one person isn't on the offensive while the other is on the defensive.

Avoid leaving someone a wall of text. This can be intimidating even with the most careful of wording and best of intentions.

Don't gang up on someone. You may have a different way of wording something, but unless you have something new to contribute, consider letting it go if there are already others saying it.

Be constructive and considerate.

Comments: I'm completely open for thoughts on Helix as a character. I know it's hard to crit him seeing as he doesn't have an actual fandom to go from but any feedback is welcome! Let me know what you think ♥

	/twirls you around forever I love Helix. I always have. He and Rogue need to talk again and I love the CR between him and Eric thus far a lot I am so excited about Sam! I will always want more time to hang out with Rogue. He kind of gets her in some strange way and their friendship is cute and it works. She's still the first to know his secrets, even before he got to tell Aidan!

I can't tell you how excite I am to see how things progress between he and Eric, I think it will be interesting at least.

Gah, thank you ♥ I'm so glad to hear I've got him down. I want to see how he handles the whole Eric and Sookie thing. I can't wait to have him meet Buffy. He knows who she is after all so there may be some minor 4th wall shaking there but he'll definitely dig her. I can tell. She's his kind of woman, so don't be surprised if there is some flirting. She is totes welcome to shoot him down all the same, he's used to it by now and she can at least earn a loyal friend!

	I've always enjoyed threads between Helix and Oz. We should do more of that even if Helix doesn't get how zen Oz always is. And now that Derek has somewhat acclimated to the prison, I bet there could be some interesting threads between the two of them too! Actually, Spike and Helix were talking about Oz, IDK if you were stalking at all, so there is definitely potential for them to interact if you ever wanted to strike up a log or something! I will try to have him poke him if I see you post with him or at a mingle. He's all curious about the wolfy~

Derek and Helix need to meet, perhaps in person at some point so he can see how tiny he is. Seeing as he's getting close to his bro, Reid, I def see them interacting more and can't wait!

	Oh I totally don't blame Rebecca, I'm surprised more people haven't sought him out to punch him in the face! But yes yes, they need to hang out and play video games or something and then she can learn about the band and Aidan and yes, all the awkward questions. i'll begin by saying that i love helix. he's not your typical oc, and it's fantastic seeing someone play an oc who is well developed and fleshed out and isn't the cardboard cut out gary stu type that tends to give ocs a bad name. you're one of the oc players who give me hope for others looking to play their original people in panfandom land, so major kudos there.

and sam. oh my god, sam. he's perfect. absolutely perfect, and i really hope you decide to bring him into the game for good. the thread we had with him and sook on fourth wall is one of my favorites, and i hope that i get the chance to play more with him soon. ♥

You have me blushing and smiling like a dork so much, I hope you know that.

This definitely boosts my confidence, between you and Kristi loving on my Sam. I really, really want to get him in this round and his app is so close to being done. I just need to fix up his Action Sample and it's good to go. I'm pretty solid with him but I always worry about doing a character justice. So thank you, I'm glad to know I did so well with him during 4th wall!

true blood players are a rare breed these days in general, but sam players seem even rarer, so i'm worlds of thrilled you've decided to bring him into the game. i've never played sook off a sam before yours, and i look forward to exploring their cr more in the game, especially wrt canonpoint confusion (since sookie is from the start of 4x01 and behind everyone else in the cast) and whatever she thinks she's doing with eric, lol.

/cuddles up on the Smurf. Helix is great. Sometimes I really want to shake him in a good way. Good because I love negative CR and characters who aren't always perfect or people pleasing. I think he's interesting and real. You do an amazing job even without a canon to build from. There is still so much depth there. I like how my characters all have very different CR with him even though he's very consistent.

If you want to shake him, or punch him but hug him at the same time, then I'm doing it right. And this is definitely SO awesome to hear. I've always wanted to make him that frustrating kid you just love to hate, while keeping him interesting and growing and yes, he's a tough muse at times, but I love him to bits. He's so much fun and I'm glad to hear that everyone else is having lots of fun with him too!

It's especially awesome to hear the word "real" used to describe him, this was one of my major goals. I've always worried about being over the top or too much with things. So YAY yes, thank you so much!

	It sounds like you're doing it right then! <3 (And he's a teenager. They are supposed to be over the top sometimes, right?) But really I think he balances well. ^^ hehe, that's okay. Helix is really great. I love threading with him. Obviously one couldn't really say if he was "IC" due to him being an OC, but he's a consistent character, which is just as good in my opinion.

The only one of your fourth wall kids I threaded with was Sollux. While I think you have a good grasp on his characterization and voice, I have to say I disagree with your choice to type his quirk out in voice. I understand your reasoning for doing it since it appears that way in walkarounds and dialoglogs, but it's distracting, and even though spoken quirks have been lampshaded before (such as Latula's in the most recent walkaround) they don't really make much sense from a logical standpoint. So.

But aside from that I did enjoy playing with him!

First off, I greatly appreciate your honesty about Sollux and to be honest I was kinda feeling that part way through playing him. Where I have fun playing out his quirk, it really did seem more and more out of place. I stuck to my guns though, because I'd said I would. But next time I'll leave the quirk to text conversations only! At first I was thinking it helped convey the lisp more? A 2 in my mind reads as a lisp easier than trying to type out a "listhp" but, yeah I definitely agree with you.

I'm glad you had fun though and thank you for threading with me and him ♥

That said, I'm glad you enjoy Helix and that I've got to thread with you so often. I love the dynamic that has sprung up with our kids and I hope to continue to have awesome CR with you! "Consistent" is also a really great word to hear, just sayin'.
