Welcome to the MarinaNova HMD! This is optional, but encouraged.

• List your characters for which you'd like feedback. We have a form below if you like forms!

We strongly encourage you to make this a dialogue. Find out what went into actions, decisions, and characterization and you may come to understand it better. Hopefully you'll also be in the best position to clearly communicate your own concerns. Results will be more satisfactory for everyone if one person isn't on the offensive while the other is on the defensive.

Avoid leaving someone a wall of text. This can be intimidating even with the most careful of wording and best of intentions.

Don't gang up on someone. You may have a different way of wording something, but unless you have something new to contribute, consider letting it go if there are already others saying it.

Be constructive and considerate.

Man, looking at all of your characters I feel like such a stalker. I stalk them all except Yuuri, I think. *tries not to be creepy*

I always love playing off of Euphie. Let's just get that out there. Done.

You have Xander's voice down, I think. You let him be a little more mellow like he is at the end of season 7 but you also let him still be his normal quirky Xander self. Love that. I want more Oz and Xander conversations just because they get each other.

Sam is very Sam. Love me those Winchesters.

And Kitty. I only know her canon vaguely but I do enjoy the tension between her and Derek right now. I'm glad that you're okay with playing that tension even though I know that kind of play can be hard. And as they get to know each other and learn to trust each other (hopefully, kind of, idek), I look forward to progressing that way too. It's been a lot of fun so far! There should be more!

But thank you! I'm really glad you enjoy them and extremely flattered you stalk them!

I love the awkward/negative/uneasy CR. Have no fears about that. It makes things interesting and then I'm all popcorn.gif at my own threads! lol. I always love to see how people interact. She is definitely motivated to make him (and Garcia) like her (which I think might work less to her advantage than she'd want because then she is trying to hard and being more awkward.)

i want all of your CR now and forever, do i even need to stop and say how awesome haunt is? no. but i can say i mourn TYKITTY FOREVER even though yes, like you said... it's really brilliant how it worked out. character growth and actually ended relationship existing in RP that isn't influenced by character dropping, you know? I JUST FEEL PROUD even if it HURTS. seeing her and reid get close too is just Awaaaa feels!! it's so sweet and she deserves it even if that's weird to say about a fictional character?

tyki should hit on euphy more though.

I have enjoyed threading with you so much and I especially love the CR between Kitty and Damon and ehem Veridical and Damon. I'm looking forward to tagging the rest of your characters and seeing where that goes!

I absolutely love stalking your threads. I can hear Xander's voice whenever I read any of your tags for him and it makes me want to re-watch BtVS and catch up with the rest of the comics. Kitty is amazing and now I seriously want to read X-Men: AOA. Going to have to get hold of the comics. Sam's friendship with Elena is <33333 and I heart his threads with Castiel and Dean. I'm probably going to to end up checking out Kyou Kara Mou and Code Geass post having Damon bug Yuuri and Euphemia. It's just inevitable.

Also, I don't know if I've told you this story before or not. Stop me if you have! (except you can't stop me. It's one long comment!) But back in the day we had a dance event where people ended up taking on the personality of the costume they wore. This had varying effects, but... /sobs. Yuuri wore Katherine's old school dress and had this weird blend of TVD and KKM memories that made sense at the time I swear somehow. And he had awkward conversations with old Damon and just, hah. I don't know! For some reason the whole thing embarrasses me now, so I'm always so hesitant for Yuuri to play with TVD cast even though he has REASONS to.

I HAVE REVEALED MY SECRET! Or something. Also, I'm a ninja. (idk)

i have been a fan of your euphie for what feels like forever. she's perfect and i would be very, very sad if you ever stopped playing her. and while i'm blind to kitty's particular corner of canon, i really love her, too - especially her development wrt moving past the mutant classism she had. the fact that she's dating spencer now is a beautiful achievement, and it's fantastic whenever roleplayers are able to do those kinds of things with their characters.

sam is amazing, and i especially enjoy stalking his conversations with elena. and xander, of course, is so very xander. i am so, so glad that you decided to app him into the game. there's nothing about your xander that isn't spot on xanderish, and i love reading all of his threads. i demand more interactions with him and sookie - and even the broodpire, because the snark between those two needs to be framed.

I LOVE PLAYING WITH YOU. i will collect all your kids' cr ok. i have no crit, dude. you make it so easy to tag and i just have a lot of fun tagging you. i love all our cr, and all your character's voices are unique and wonderful and ldkjf words. you really understand them, is what i'm trying to say. at first i'd constantly forget you played both sam and kitty because they were so different. i can't wait for more kitty/elena friendship times and for all elena and sam's secrets to blow up in their faces. booooom.

Sam and Xander have such perfect voices, I'm so glad I get to be your canon buddy again! And I know some of your other muses are loud as hell, so it's great to see Sam and Xander still getting out and about.

I'm really enjoying Yuuri, too! I think I played Cas off of him briefly once or twice before and I'm excited to get him into baseball and making a new little demon buddy. He's been really adorable and you're always so good at letting your characters be derpy and multi-faceted. \o/

Oh, gosh, how many of your characters do I have with CR now? I lost count, so I'm just going to say all fo them, and they're all equally fabulous. Zee's first thread with Xander was incredibly sweet (even taking into account the age mixup), Euphemia is adorable, Yuuri is...interesting, Kitty is made of awesome, Verdical is a machine, and of course I'm completely biased when I saw Artemis is my favorite yet.

I'm beyond thrilled that you got into YJ and are apping her, because those few threads we had during 4th wall were perfect. You really have her tsundere/badass attitude with those subtle hints of insecurity and uncertainty that come from her timeline. It's honestly like I'm reading her right out of the show! Having Zee's other best friend under the sea with her is going to be amazing, I already know.

So much of the CR! I think we're just missing Sam and he has had bad experience with witches, so that could be interesting too. hehe.

From the moment I was watching Artemis I couldn't get her out of my head. I kept thinking I wanted to play her and then kept telling myself no. But the no just got quieter and quieter and here we are. I'm reeeeeeeally glad you like my playing of her and hopefully I'll get better too. I did just finish the comics post-4th wall!

I have absolutely no problem with negative CR, especially if it's simply because of her magical nature.

That's usually how muses happen. I had a journal for Zee the day she premiered, and apped her into her first game a week later. No regrets. The comics have been great for additional background stories, too. (Though 20 starts the time skip, so no more bb!adventures. Sadness.)

I have a feeling that you'll only keep improving, the more you settling into her voice and get her situated. Especially since our YJ cast is small ~~for now~~, but wonderful.

I'm not entirely sure what to say to you. Maybe words are superfluous at this time but there's still a lot of them lingering about, so maybe you'll get an essay instead. I know you love those.

I can honestly and without a doubt say that you saved rp for me. It might seem like a big thing to say, but it's nonetheless true — before you started drowning me in Kitty tags, I was pretty tired with the whole thing and then you came along and sparked life into it again. You were one of the ones to remind me that it can be fun and whimsical and full of drama and just... endless possibilities. You made me take my roleplaying seriously again, without being serious about it. You gave me the opportunity to do stupid things and amazing things and all the things, and in a way I think that's more important than your stellar characterizations — and stellar they are.

I love Kitty more than I ever thought I could love an X-Men. Stalking old threads, it's just amazing what you've done with her and even more so that she's still got some of the bratty teenager in her, despite having matured so much. I desperately need more Sam in my life, because although I didn't get to his canon point he sounds like the Sam I remember and research and talk about brain ghosts need to be a thing. Same with Xander, he's just wonderful and spot on and Spike wanted to smack him throughout that entire conversation, so you're really doing it right!

Just... damn, dude. How did you even get so awesome?

And as if you didn't know this already, you've made modding a complete joy. It's easy and fun and I know that I can rely on you to get the job done when I can't (and sometimes when I can. Seriously dude, what's with the lightning speed?) and the fact that everything has gone so smoothly since day one is just... oh wow. How even. Everyone I know who has ever modded a game got eaten alive by it, and I'm not feeling that at all.

I love you, dude.

Gosh, Haunt, you intimidated me so much when I first started, not so much because you're a scary person (far from it, you seem really cool and fun!) but because your characters are all really great. I mean, I was kind of starstruck in a way with the SPN cast in general, I really wanted Helix to meet and interact with all of them but was so scared that he wouldn't blend well with all the amazingness that is the SPN cast.

That being said, I'm so glad I got over the silly jitters and got to play against all of your kids. I love the dynamic with Kitty and Helix, especially knowing he doesn't trust or like her much but he's really getting close to Reid. He's being a little extra prickly lately, they did kind of have a truce there for a time, but since she stepped up to take over the DF things are getting a little strained all over again. I love this about them. I'd also like to see if things could get better between them, or if Kitty could develop an almost big sister sort of thing with him? Or if they will just remain sort of on either side, butting heads while Reid is trapped in the middle.

I like that Euphie has kind of attached herself to Helix without the blue boy really knowing what's hit him. I hope she drags him out for more ridiculous things in the future!

Yuuri. He seems like such a nice, well-meaning sort of guy but Helix just can not let go. I kind of love their rivalry that isn't really a rivalry and I'm curious to see what happens from here on out.

Xander, I just need more Xander cause you play him so frickin' well. I hear his voice so clearly in every one of your tags. He's quirky and funny and he's such a great fit for you I think, he really lets your creativity and wit shine through.

And lastly, Sam. I love him to bits. My only complaint is I want more of him. Alas, you have full mod responsibilities and an incredible cast and CR and a LIFE so I totally understand not seeing much of him. He's not the kind of guy to really be overly active or stand out (he's tall, he doesn't need to stand out more than he already does) so I think at the pace you play him it fits. I've enjoyed his awkward interactions with Helix, I don't know why or how every conversation they have is mildly uncomfortable but it's kind of great that they get along without it being too smooth? IDK it's an interesting thing to play with. It's smooth while being pretty rocky at times, if only for topic of conversation. There's no real bad mojo between them but at the same time Helix just kind of doesn't get Sam. He's fun! And I'm glad they're getting CR.

I love Veridical. She's sarcastic and to the point and just great for an overlord. I imagine she gets fed up with humans and that's why she has Conscienti as a back up for days she just doesn't want to handle the whiny inmates. Keep up the good work!

your xander and i are pretty much going to get married. that's how much i adore him. i never really had much of an appreciation for xander in the series - i did like him! - but yours makes me realise all the things i love about him; his humour, his wit, just how awkward he is. i know i read a thread between him and angel before i joined and i was so impressed by your xander. so, i know we just met and this is crazy but let's keep tagging so call me maybe?
