Game-wide HMD/Plotting!
Welcome to the MarinaNova HMD! This is optional, but encouraged.

• List your characters for which you'd like feedback. We have a form below if you like forms!

• Leave your tactful and considered thoughts, questions, concerns, praise, suggestions, etc. for others.

We strongly encourage you to make this a dialogue. Find out what went into actions, decisions, and characterization and you may come to understand it better. Hopefully you'll also be in the best position to clearly communicate your own concerns. Results will be more satisfactory for everyone if one person isn't on the offensive while the other is on the defensive.

Avoid leaving someone a wall of text. This can be intimidating even with the most careful of wording and best of intentions.

Don't gang up on someone. You may have a different way of wording something, but unless you have something new to contribute, consider letting it go if there are already others saying it.

Be constructive and considerate.

• Since there is no plotting meme during months with an HMD, please feel free to do that here too.

Comments: I’ve done pretty good on activity this month, much better than previous months and I hope to both keep that up and improve! Oz, I’ve been struggling a bit with lately voice wise but I think that is getting back on track too. I hope. Anyway, I’m open to any plotting! :D

I'm so engaged in the happenings with the CM cast. hehe. I love watching the cast threads and playing off Derek with Kitty. I'm really curious to see where it all goes. And I have been so remiss with Oz. He and Sam need more time. And Xander. And Euphie. Everyone basically is what I'm saying. I'm also going to go bananas all over Jean-Luc, so you may be doomed to playing with me more. Oh, but I really like the restraint you show with Oz while still making him interesting. I think he'd be a tough character to play because he says so little, but you do a great job with him!

Yes! I really want more Oz interaction with Xander and Sam. It's always fun and interesting. And thanks so much for your comments about Oz. I was feeling a little off with him for a little bit there but hopefully things are getting back to good and it helps to know that you think I'm doing okay with him.

I am really interested to see how Kitty's and Derek's interaction progresses too. But I also love you for playing all the uncomfortable with them right now and not hating me for it! Thanks so much!

I love, love, LOVE playing with your Morgan. He is wonderfully IC; everything that makes me love him (and sometimes want to strangle him) on the show you really show off beautifully. I was actually really nervous about playing Garcia against him because sometimes the chemistry characters have in canon is hard to recreate but I seriously enjoy and adore every one of their interactions! Definitely loving the two of them and we definitely need more. <33333

	Yes! More! All the more! Like I said, I would even be okay with it being silly boring things, just interaction! I love playing them off of each other. And thank you so much. 	I am basically stalking everything that is Derek and his crew, he just reads so right and the CM cast here is like literal perfection. I love you all and I want to stalk every single thing you do. 	liiiiiiiiiisa. i am sadly canon blind to derek, though i enjoy what i see of him. oz, however, is so perfect, i don't have words to describe it. you manage to convey points and emotion through his default stoicness, which takes talent. you're not falling prey to any of those traps character tropes set, and it makes playing against your oz even more enjoyable. faith wants to monopolize your guys, i swear. i've been floored at the relationship she's been building with oz from the get-go (and it's always been one i've wanted to explore, btw) and a lot of that is attributed to the fact that you've got no qualms about letting oz just be his chill self. i'm so lucky that he's been really supportive and non-jugdy to faith, because without that kind of friendship, she could go in a much worse direction. i'm excited for him and cas to be monosyllabic bros, too. their thread is amusing me to no end! his voice hasn't sounded off to me at all, so whatever you're doing is totally working! i'm so glad that not only do you play him, but you play him so well. he's fantastic.

i've always loved the prospect of faith and derek being bros; at poly they seemed to just kind of fit together as friends, and here at marina again they're doing the same, albeit with a little more effort (which i really like, btw) and friction. from what i have seen of criminal minds, you've got his voice and motivations down perfectly, too. that hero attitude with a darker angsty past underneath? yum-a-licious. and it is no secret that i ship the hell out of faith and derek. c'mon, you know me. i'm NOT a shipper at all and i'm just sitting here on the sidelines of their tags rooting for them to get together and for faith to not screw up xD

A+ for you, lady. and begging for more from me!

Oh my God, Morgan.

You had me hooked way back during Poly's 4th wall and I came pretty damn close to apping into the game just so I could play with your Morgan some more. Needless to say I was beyond thrilled when you brought him to Marina and it's just been one long, wonderful journey since. I'm usually pretty nervous about having castmates but you play him so well through and through that I know you'll be able to take whatever I throw his way and see where I'm going with it. I absolutely adore the way you've handled him coming to Marina and all the conflict that has sprung from there, especially in regards to Reid.

You're just... you're doing it right, man. I literally cannot get enough of him, and I look forward to the day when he finds out about Emily being alive with anxious anticipation.

And then there's Oz. I have to admit, I didn't pay too much attention to him until we did that thread with Spike, but in a way I think that says a lot about how you portray him. You've really nailed that laid-back weirdness that makes him who he is, while still keeping him sort of serious about the things that matter. It's a really great thing and I desperately need to throw more people his way, any chance I get!

All the love. Really, all of it.

I have absolutely loved the interactions I've had with Oz, he's such an easy-going, laid-back and loveable guy. I think you do really well with his voice from what I've seen and I'd really like to have him interact more with Helix. If I manage to get Sam into the game I think the two should definitely chat!

I wish I knew more about Derek, Rica has told me bits and pieces about him and I know in some ways Helix reminds Reid of Morgan here or there. It's already been said but they should definitely talk more.

All in all, I don't have any real crit, but I've enjoyed rping with you!

	you handle oz brilliantly. i know i read a thread (or few) of his before i even joined the game and i was so impressed with how well you have him down. he's always been funny to me and you really capture that amazingly. i wanted to just comment with a "huh" but i can't portray all of my emotions and thoughts into one syllable like he can. :P (Reply to this) (Parent)
