Hello, Marina.

I've come with some very sad news tonight. After more than two (ooc, obviously) years in game, it is unfortunately time for me to let Data go. I've been struggling with him for some time, and life isn't going to be letting up any time soon. It's just not fair of me to keep just scraping by with him here.

This brings me down to only Dexter in game, but I have no intention of taking him out of here any time soon - and, should things change and I get the urge to do so, it's absolutely not out of the question that Data will be back, too.

For now - let me know if there are any threads you'd like to do with him, and I will be continuing the ones he had going. I'm not inclined to let him just fizzle out and if there's any way I can wrap things up with you and yours, I'd be totally happy to do so, as long as they're on posts for day 300 or earlier. He's gone effective day 301.

Thank you everyone for giving him such a wonderful home while he was here. This was the first game in a long time where he really clicked - and I've been playing him for a very very long time, so that's saying quite a bit.

	Heh, you're getting out just in time - I was going to have Jack come and ask Data about the holodeck some time, following the recent revelations in-game! Though I guess we could say they'd talked off-screen, anyway? Also? I know we haven't played a lot, but I like Data and I'm sorry to see him go. :-( (Reply to this) (Thread)

We can certainly assume that he told Jack some about that! I am very slowly (because it is sad, haha) wrapping up some old threads with Data so we can even backdate one if you'd like to. Or just get some basics about what he would have shared, information-wise. I do wish we could have played more, but that's totally on me and how I've been struggling with keeping him going. :(

I did really enjoy what I did get to play out with Jack, though! And it's not impossible that Data might be back if things let up. I'm always sad without him on my roster, hahaha.

	No worries, love - I've been very absent myself anyway! I don't honestly think I have time for playing anything out, but it would be great if you could just give me some ideas of anything Data might have been able to reveal about virtual realities. :-) (Reply to this) (Parent)
