Welcome to the MarinaNova HMD! This is optional, but encouraged.

• List your characters for which you'd like feedback. We have a form below if you like forms!

• Leave your tactful and considered thoughts, questions, concerns, praise, suggestions, etc. for others.

We strongly encourage you to make this a dialogue. Find out what went into actions, decisions, and characterization and you may come to understand it better. Hopefully, you'll also be in the best position to clearly communicate your own concerns. Results will be more satisfactory for everyone if one person isn't on the offensive while the other is on the defensive.

Avoid leaving someone a wall of text. This can be intimidating even with the most careful of wording and best of intentions.

Don't gang up on someone. You may have a different way of wording something, but unless you have something new to contribute, consider letting it go if there are already others saying it.

Be constructive and considerate.

• Since there is no plotting meme during months with an HMD, please feel free to do that here too.

• Contact a mod if you have any problems.

Comments: I'm forever worried about her voice. When she's on, I feel like she's really on, but most of the time she's just hard to get going and I worry about whether or not she's IC. Last month was hell for me, so I've been super slow and I'm sorry to everyone. Hopefully, this moth will pick back up again.

I'm still working on Siren Clam pearl stuff with her, like the sensing emotions stuff, and that's pretty much on-going, but if there's anything you want to say or think I should be doing that I'm not, feel free to say.

	That is forever how I feel about Sam's voice, but for what it's worth, I think you're on track with her (and TNG is my all-time favorite show)! I like how you've got her set up in the prison and her voice sounds right to me! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	It's really awful when you love the character a lot :c But thank you. I'm trying to get her settled without feeling like it's too much or I'm pushing the counselor part without reaching for things outside of that. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I was also having a conversation with a friend from another game just the other day about how playing a counselor can be very draining because sometimes other players will just use your character without giving back which would be fair enough in a real world situation with a counselor but not so much in a collaborative game! So, if you ever feel like I'm doing that please let me know! And spreading her wings beyond counseling might help to head that sort of thing off, but I think it also makes sense that as she settles in she's clinging to her strengths. That's probably where she finds the most security.

That does make a lot of sense and maybe that's part of my problem? I don't blame anyone at all and part of the reason I apped her in was because she would have a place and a purpose automatically. I've been trying to think of other things to have her do, but I guess I haven't really gotten her out and about as much as she probably needs. But that's a very good point and I'll have to where else I can throw her in.

	I have to say, and I'm not sure if this is a thing with me or if it happens to others, but when I thread with Deanna, I heard Marina Sirtis' voice in my head, accent and all. 	I'm really enjoying her, and I think she and Martha can connect on a professional level and friendship level that Martha kind of needs at this point in time. And the siren clam stuff is fine. Though she should probably stay clear of Mal who is in a completely self-destructive rut at the moment. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
