[Action | Open | Evening]
[The past two days had stressful so Michiru decides to do the one thing that always reliably helps her, playing violin. So as evening arrives she heads out of her apartment and down to the parks around the dome to get some inspiration and play her violin for a bit. As she stands and plays, the melody of her violin drift around]

[ooc: Michiru is out practicing for the fun of it. Feel free to encounter her anywhere and watch her play and talk to her. Sorry to the two people have been waiting so patiently for this post]

I'm glad. Yes, more permanent would be better for that.

It has been fun... in a hectic sort of way. That's why I came out to practice. It's relaxing.

[With a final twirl the flute disappears into thin air.]

Nice and quiet and very inspiring. [Meaning that he agrees that it's relaxing, even if Puck personally would have preferred the chaos of yesterday.] You ended up being very busy, I take it.

*hugs* It's okay.

[Michiru can't help but be a little surprised at the flute vanishing into thin air. It wasn't something that happened often where she was] Oh, that's what you meant!

I did. A friend from home showed up, but she didn't know a lot of significant events that took place on our world. [She was sad about that. It was difficult to explain that time in their lives to someone who really didn't know]

[He grins even wider, obviously pleased with her surprise.] With the restrictions of this place there's hardly a point to trying to keep it around longer than necessary.

[While she talks about her friend, Puck switches positions so that he's now sitting cross-legged on the branch, facing Michiru instead of sitting in profile.] Ah, the ever-present time differences dilemma. At least she was still "a friend"?

That is true. This place does make it hard if you have any sort of abilities.

[She stands looking up at him from her position on the ground] In my time she is still a friend. From her time, she wasn't a friend since we hadn't really made ourselves known to them yet. It is complicated.

How unfortunate. [He's still smiling while saying that, though, so he can't be feeling too sad for her sake.] It could always be worse? By the sound of it some people ran into old enemies. --That's assuming your friend in question didn't consider you an enemy, of course.

It could have been worse. She didn't think I was an enemy. She didn't really know what to make of us because we didn't tell them anything. I'm glad that I didn't encounter enemies.

[Let's focus on the fun part:]

You're making it sounds like there are many of that variety. [Enemies, that is.]

Did I? Everyone has people who don't like them and there can be more than one of them.

[Shh... being vague because she doesn't want to say it]

A fair enough point. [Okay, okay. Subject change:] First time experience, this sudden inmate influx? I hear it's not as uncommon as one would think.

No, this wasn't my first experience. I first arrived as part of the one of the influxes. You have seen a few of them then?

[He shakes his head.] This was my very first time. Am I ever glad our lovely new wardens seem so keen on having it continue to happen.

It does seem like that. It seems to be a flaw in whatever programming since it happened at the last dome too.

I've thought that. They can bring us here, but they can't keep us here... and that keeps happening.

The technology around here is impressive enough that I can forgive a few bugs-- they can be quite the challenge to work out even in simpler constructs. [Doesn't he know it.] It's the attitude that's grating, if you ask me. But then again, what else is there to expect?

I don't know much about the technology here, but I'd think being able to retain "prisoners" is the job of a prison. Not that I would rather stay here, but its technology is so flawed its not doing even that.

Attitude? You mean like the wardens?

[He just shrugs lightly at the part about flawed technology. He's not sure that part is really an unintentional error, anyway.]

Exactly like the wardens. Superiority complexes are so unbecoming on those who can't back them up.

I haven't talked to them, but I've heard people complaining about the attitudes that they have. Also one of them definitely has a sarcastic attitude.

I only ever said hi to Acumen back in the day, but when it comes to attitude they all seem mostly the same to me. I suppose it's no wonder when you end up the boss of... oh, whatever the exact number of inmates is at this very moment.

I don't know. Acumen seemed more like just a computer with no humor at all. Which one is, Verdical? That one seems more sarcastic and less like a computer. But yes, they seem to be rather full of themselves.

"Full of themselves" was what I was referring to. [Cheerfully. He gets it was an ambiguous way of phrasing it.] Ah, but the AIs are so boring to talk about at length. Besides, I doubt the topic would help anyone unwind.

You mean trying to see if they have something that interests them?
