_{[ It felt only natural to eventually make his way over to Wade, curiosity and concern pulling at him in equal measures. He wasn't sure what he was expecting to see, but it wasn't this. Wade, in his before state - before everything had gone to shit for him. With a woman whom he can only assume is Jessica, the one he says he's going to marry when he gets home.

She would be gorgeous, wouldn't she? He can't help the petty swell of jealousy that rises, for a fraction of a moment. He's not that good of a man. She's more than gorgeous though. She looks at Wade in those pictures like he's the world, and that... that's good. That's okay and good and what it should be. In a strange way, it soothes him. ]}

You know she's way out of your league, right?

Wasn't the worst. She's pretty good at skee ball. [ He's skipping parts, wanting to keep some things private and also not entirely feeling up to the hours of self loathing he'd have to go through if he really reminded himself of how great Vanessa is. ]

Not saying you have to - definitely that you shouldn't. Talking helps some people, and I just don't want you to feel like you have no one to talk to here, or that I wouldn't talk about it with you. And if you don't want to, if you want to have a spar or fight with dildos you stole from Jack's shop, that's fine too.
