[Jack comes on the screen in front of the store previously known as the Plush Rump and now proudly sporting a brand new sign stating Captain Jack's Exotic Emporium.]

So. I took this place over a while ago and I was intending to have a great big grand opening day, but what with one bit of drama and another I haven't got as far with the renovations as I'd like to.

So instead I'd like to invite you to come and help me do the place up! I've found some paint and fabrics and things, but a little extra manpower wouldn't hurt, and I could use some people to help set out the stock as well. Any helpers grateful received!

Action
He'll be at the store all day, working on getting it set up.

[It's been a good little while since raptors ran amok and she first ran into Jack, discussing Hell and Spike saying Jack was good for dating advice. Well, over a month and one kinda failed singles mingle later - Jezebel's not given up heart yet. In fact, she's still curiously examining moral life to the fullest, and that comes with putting on jeans and "work clothes" upon hearing his request. Of course she'll help!

Nevermind she's never done a lick of hard work in her life, but surely she can do something.] Jack! I came to help. What can I do?

He's always meant to catch up with Jezebel again, but lately there always seems to be one personal crisis or another to attend to. He's even only really shoving this in between dramas, he's fairly sure!

So he smiles widely at the sight of her.] Jezebel! How nice of you to come and help! Do you have any particular skills, or would you like to just help set things out?

	Well... [Yeah, there's 0 experience here.] I can help set things out - or paint. I'm sure I'd be okay at painting. I also brought you, ah. [She takes off her little backpack to pull out a small polka dotted container full of undesirable baked goods and offers it to him.] These! To celebrate with. I made them myself. Well, I could certainly use a hand with painting. I'm not exactly experienced at it myself. [As is evidenced by the fact he's got it all over himself.] There's a lot of wall to cover!

[He watches wide-eyed as she offers the container, because he wasn't expecting that at all, and grins when he sees the contents. He's surprisingly unfussy about his food when it's been home made specially for him!]

That's really sweet of you, thanks! I'll put them out so all my helpers can help themselves, if that's all right?

	A little, I had to repaint my room myself once... it took me a little while [and was very streaky] but it turned out okay. So, okay, I had some minions help too but it's not that difficult. I'm sure! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
