[He spent most of his night tossing and turning instead of getting any real sleep but he did drift off eventually. When he starts to stir always in the morning he's almost afraid to open his eyes and see if he's not alone anymore. Well, eye. But he's not getting a clear view of the situation from the mechanical one just now.]

So, good news, apparently I was crazy next day so no need to panic. [Everything is fine son who called him dad and he's not making a big deal about it but yay!] Call off the search party that you probably didn't actually send out.

I can teach you how to drive in a fast and reckless manner. That's a thing right? [He hasn't done much of it since Haruka disappeared since he doesn't have anyone to race and make spaceship noises with now.]

I think it's a thing? [Haruka would spend some days racing cars in the arcade with him. It was funner than the bike lessons.] I mean, I think you're supposed to teach me responsible driving. But your way sounds better.

That would be helpful. People trying to shoot me is not a thing that has ever happened. [Water guns did not count.] But they could, and I would need to know how to avoid them.
