[For life? That... that didn't register, not really. Then again a lot of things hadn't fully registered for Remy right now, from the multiple universes to the very fact he was in a prison. Despite what he had done back home, Remy never really had the fear of ending up in prison. Firstly because he was confident he would never be caught, and secondly due to the fact his family had money and could easily get him free between expensive lawyers and just being able to bribe the right people.

Also, wait, immortal? Jezebel had mentioned something about a vampire being around, and Remy wasn't one to automatically dismiss them as myth. He came from New Orleans, he knew about weird supernatural stuff. And... well, now Remy took a moment to really look at the vid feed and the guy talking to him, he did seem a little familiar...] 'mmortal, ya say?
