[This... is a disaster.

Slumped on the ground in defeat, Yuuki can't believe her luck at all. On the day she sets out to attend a school. An actual school for the first time, with other people her age, with other vampires and even humans alike, she gets kidnapped. How can this be her luck!? Dismayed, she stares at the device she's slipped off her ear, as though the words 'just kidding' will be written on it somewhere. Of course there's no such thing. For a moment, she can't help but wonder if her father is the one responsible. He had been the one most nervous regarding her introduction to society, and about attending school. In fact, she's only allowed to attend because her brother is going to join her.

After this, though, she has to wonder if her parents might just go back on their word and make her go home.

Which only leaves her one option....!]

I attend Kurosu Academy, in fact, I'm a school guardian there and part of the Night Class.

[She knows that Yuuki will be confused by how much they look alike but maybe pointing out that she's from the Night Class will make things a little easier to talk about. After all, anyone from her mother's era or before didn't know about the existence of vampires. If she makes sure that her mother knows she's a vampire, she might be more willing to ask questions that Yuuki wouldn't ask a human.]

[There's no doubt that the woman on the other side of the feed gives her pause. The visual widening of her eyes gives her surprise away. She looks just like her mother...

It has to be impossible. Their family line is so small anymore, and yet...]

I- [She's from home. She knows about the academy, even though the term 'school guardian' eludes her. This though- she smiles after a moment. Everything is still public right now.]

That's a relief. I was hoping someone might be familiar. Particularly a fellow classmate within the night class.

[She lifts a hand up to her ear and smiles sheepishly.]

Is there a way to speak privately through this? [Maybe she'll have to take it off and look again, or will that disconnect her?] Or in person perhaps?

[Yuuki's surprise is so evident - no matter what changes have been made to her memory. It makes Ai glad that she inherited some of her father's traits because that means she can not let her own emotions reflect on her face.

Really, it should be easy enough for her to tell anyone that she's a Kuran - especially considering how long purebloods live and the nature of MarinaNova. People are brought here from a variety of different time periods which Ai can explain and not say anything about when she's from. She could be an ancestor or a descendant.]

As far as I'm aware, I'm the only individual from the night class currently here but more may have appeared recently just as you did.

[Oh. Her mother wants to meet.

She can't go having them meet at their apartment, not until she knows what's going on with Zero. If he was unaffected by whatever this is, he'd accept her easily enough. If not, there will be complications about trying to claim their apartment as her own.

So she picks a neutral place.]

There's a flower shop in the fourth sector. It's called Nine White Orchids, I will be there.

[Ai probably should look after the place while this change has overtaken her mother - for however long it goes on.]

[She'll head there directly. The sooner she can speak with someone from home, the better.]

Yes, it's hard to miss it.

[As it should be considering you're the one who named it, mother. :|]

There's a button on the device that will give you a map of the prison. You should be able to make your way using that quite easily.

[Especially if Yuuki can sense the other presences of vampires. There might be more around but there still aren't too many. Ai is fairly certain they're the only purebloods around too.]

All right, I'm on my way.

[She fiddles with it a little until she's able to bring up the map. That was easy enough. And in the end, following the scent is just as effective. She's not all too far.

Taking in her surroundings, it's nothing at all how she might assume a prison to be. When she spots the store front, she approaches to give a small knock on the door as she peeks around the edge.]

[It's stranger, waiting for her mother (who doesn't remember being her mother) in the store she started. Upon getting there she actually finds herself at a loss for something to do instead of standing around nervously to see her mother a second time in this manner.

So she starts watering the plants that need watering, taking her time to keep herself occupied. This is what she's doing when Yuuki opens the door. Ai looks up at the knock and moves to put the watering can down.]

[Quietly, Yuuki steps into the store, closing the door behind her. Large, brown eyes sweep the room. It's her first time visiting some place so simple as this, even though she enjoys flowers. She has a special one at home, encased in resin that she keeps close to her heart.

These ones however aren't eternally preserved. They've all bloomed beautifully, but will fade with time.]

Is this your place?

[She notes the watering canon, and can assume at the very least she's an employee here.]

It's pretty. I like flowers, even though we don't always have many at home.

[Ai's gaze follows Yuuki's around the shop, taking it in as if it was her first time seeing it. Chances are good that her mother will like it considering she was the one who put it together in the first place. It doesn't matter how much her mother has changed, flowers are still something she can appreciate.

These flowers might not be eternally preserved but that is what is so beautiful about them. From their death a new flower has to the potential to be born. A shake of her head.]

You could say I inherited this place from its previous owner.

[She'll turn it back over when her mother is back to normal.]

If you find any you like, you're welcome to take them. I'm sure they will help you brighten up any place you decided to stay in for the duration of your time here.

That's very kind of you.

[She can already feel her gaze tugging to a number of different pretty flowers and bouquets. Whatever she likes? Is that really okay? Someone else told her there's no currency, and while she's never handled a transaction before, she wonders if she shouldn't give something in return.

Her thoughts trail off and a small grimace replaces them. Ai's words are a reminder- she's going to have to find somewhere to live, still.]

I guess finding a place to stay- there's really no choice. [Determined to find a way out of this place and prove that she can be alright, she wont let herself think it impossible. Even if the idea of living alone seems... a little lonely.

Right now, though, she has more important things to worry about. Her gaze shifts, lifting back up onto the girl across from her. From her appearance to her scent-- there's no mistaking it. They're family.

The question is simply... how?]

It feels a little weird to bring up the obvious, but... I didn't realize there were any other Kurans, outside of my parents, brother, and uncle.

[It really is okay for her to take whatever she wants - it is technically her store. If she has issue with Ai giving away flowers (which she honestly doubts considering there's no currency) Yuuki will simply have to take it up with herself.

Almost amusing to think about from where Ai's standing. Almost.]

The apartments are extremely nice here and you may find one you're drawn to. It isn't ideal, but we can only do what we can.

[Good thing it's only for a night that Yuuki has to be alone. If Ai was sure that Zero wouldn't be occupying their apartment, she would invite her mother to stay with her. As it is, Ai's not even going to be staying there tonight.

Ah. Yuuki's gaze moves away from the flowers and focuses in on her again, that is how she knows what is coming next.]

Didn't any explain that the wardens are capable of bringing people here from any point in time? We are related but simply not from the same time period so it's not surprising to hear you didn't know of me.

[Of course if something were to happen to her mother's memories - she would forget Ai again.]

[Maybe they had said something. She can't recall everything spoken, but it's difficult to swallow. From the future? Really...? Head tilting, her curiosity practically burns. The apartments are hardly the difficult part. She had mentioned being part of the Night Class, but that's only just recently started up, and if that's the case...

Reaching out she grasps one of the other girl's hands.]

And so...! You're from my future then, right? [If she's from a different time period. One hand releases her, only to point to her chest.]

And me? Do you recognize me?
