Day 387
[Option 1; Action]

[This... is a disaster.

Slumped on the ground in defeat, Yuuki can't believe her luck at all. On the day she sets out to attend a school. An actual school for the first time, with other people her age, with other vampires and even humans alike, she gets kidnapped. How can this be her luck!? Dismayed, she stares at the device she's slipped off her ear, as though the words 'just kidding' will be written on it somewhere. Of course there's no such thing. For a moment, she can't help but wonder if her father is the one responsible. He had been the one most nervous regarding her introduction to society, and about attending school. In fact, she's only allowed to attend because her brother is going to join her.

After this, though, she has to wonder if her parents might just go back on their word and make her go home.

Which only leaves her one option....!]

I have to find a way out of here myself...

[Luckily, this weird communication device is pretty easy to use. She's fiddled with it a little, and decides to try and test it out.]

With as much pride as one can after defeatedly kneeling on the ground, she pushes herself back up to her feet. Her brown eyes lift up, and she stares at him for the first time, as that peculiar scent suddenly makes her aware of what he is, even if she doesn't yet know the who.]

You--

[ Catching herself she blinks, before shaking her head. Ah-- that kind of thing isn't important right now.

. . . Right?]

I-- it's nothing. [She was just wallowing in her bad luck is all.] I'm afraid I am lost. I have an important place I'm supposed to be. And if I don't make it there within a reasonable amount of time, I'm worried that there might... be some concern within my family.

[ . . . . . . Heads would roll if something happens to her.]

This place... is it connected to you? [Is it part of the Hunter's Association in other worlds. Is he stuck here with her, or is he actually part of the reason she's here?]

[ Ichiru's also a bit of a creep when he appears in front of people. It's not like he tries to sneak up on them. Of course, her lack of awareness already concluded that she's hardly a threat, seeing that she reacted the ways she did. He didn't need to confirm what she was going to say.

She was a bit shocked, so he assumed she already knew what kind of special human he was. He shrugs a bit seemingly disinterested in the fact that he's a hunter. He's not the type that would go after unarmed people, much less someone who couldn't even detect his presence. ]

Are you certain? You look rather perplexed and wary.

[ He puts his hands together. ]

Ah, I suppose you already know what I am. Don't worry, I'm not the bloodthirsty type that would go after everything that has fangs. I'm not quite sure if that's reassuring or not, however.

[ He quietly waits for her to speak again as his hands fall back to his side. ]

What a coincidence, so am I. It seems like whatever force has taken you has also taken me. I'm not quite sure what or how. I do doubt the Association has any part in it. However, I can't put it pass them if they found this amusing.

[ Heads would roll indeed. ]

I'm just incredibly concerned about being waylaid and what that might mean for the rest of my academic career.

[Mother, father. . . don't make her quit before she's gotten the chance to start, okay?

Attention refocusing back onto him, she regards him for a moment. It doesn't seem like he's lying, but then- this is the very time she's really spoken to a hunter... and she hasn't had the opportunity to mingle with humans before in general.]

I'm not afraid or anything. [She doesn't want him to think that she's isn't able to take care of herself.] Just confused. If your people didn't do it... then who else? I can't... [Brows knitting, she contemplates over their situation.] I can't imagine someone more similar to myself making a move like this either. At least, they likely wouldn't involve your people if they did.

Your academic career? Isn't that a bit harsh for being kidnapped-- if that is even the proper term for this, seeing whatever entity it is, they're not discriminating at all.

[ He replies giving her a tilt of his head. Then again, since she's saying it like he can tell that she's some sort of noble. Vampires had their own hierarchy. If he's not mistaken, she must be a Pureblood. Her presence is rather unique and different from the other vampires he's encountered before. Of course, he can't say he's ever met any Purebloods in person but he can tell right away that she is one after a moment of thought. She gave the same presence as those Purebloods he had seen afar at parties. ]

I don't recall saying that you're afraid, but if you are, it's not anything unnatural.

[ Vampires can feel like humans too. ]

I wish I knew. It would be much easier than playing this guessing game, ne? I can't say that your kind aren't capable of such feats just like the Association isn't. I honestly, doubt it's either. It's too much of a mess to be the Associations or the Society's.

Of course it is. [Harsh. With a pout to her lips she glances away.] But you don't know what hoops I had to jump through to just get permission from my father to attend school.

[This is a serious matter to her!]

If I can't even make it to school on time without getting arrested to some weirdo prison, there's no way he's going to let me go back again.

[Which is why it's imperative she get out ASAP. Contemplative, she studies him a moment, unsure.]

Who do you think is responsible, then? I mean-- I can't really buy this whole crime thing. [Most her crimes don't even make sense. How can she be truant when she's never attended a public school to begin with? And incest- well that hardly applies to her, let alone the murder charge.]

If they wanted a criminals, why not raid a prison to begin with.

Ehh, your father must be a loving man to be so harsh. How unfortunate for your situation though. I can't say I know what it's like but I'll be in trouble if I don't return myself and as you can see I was in the middle of a mission before I was imprisoned here.

[ In short, he's in as much trouble as she is but it's not like it's their fault that they're held captive here. Ichiru must applaud the people that managed to subdue him and the girl. ]

I don't believe it's your fault, seeing I'm in the same boat ne? We'll have to keep moving forward. You can't control what's out of your power, no matter how frustrating it's become.

[ With that he shrugs a little. ] I wish I knew the answer, but I do not. I am in the midst of trying to unravel that mystery. I am pretty certain that the Vampire Society and the Hunters' Association had no involvement in this. I can't take the misleading descriptions of these supposed "crimes." They're quite the hoax don't you think?

Wouldn't that be too easy and boring for people like that?

Well if you ask me, of course I'd agree. I like to think I didn't accidentally break any laws in my trek to the academy.

[Although she's already been warned that it's not illegal to harm or arrest a vampire. Even without reason or evidence of any wrong doing. It's still best to tread carefully, even when the man before her seems rather... kind.]

But still.... hoax or not, they have to have a reason. [But what is that objective...]

And I suppose breaking down the glass of this dome really isn't an option. [She'd... probably be the only one to survive.]

You don't seem to be the type to break rules. Those who break rules are rather mischievous. You're giving a rather sheltered feeling rather than a dangerous one.

[ He replies giving her a look. Of course she clearly can't even hurt a fly right now. The girl probably doesn't even know what the world is like outside of where she lives. Vampires like her were so rare and that was why he could pick it up by looking at her. That and she wasn't giving him any dangerous vibes either. His instincts were sharper than most people to begin with.

A rather ludicrous reason. Their list of so-called "crimes" are rather ridiculous don't you think?

I think I'm most bothered that some of the crimes they tried to give me aren't really crimes.

[ He chuckled at her action when she realized what he said. No matter what she did at this point, he'd still see her as a naive girl who seemed to know nothing of the world outside. It's definitely a different experience being outside than just reading about it. He admits this much. When he stepped out into the world for the first time when he became a hunter, he realized this. For her, he could understand what it must feel like to be in a place that you are not familiar with. ]

I'm certain that they aren't. I have a few that are rather laugh worthy. So don't worry. I'm most certain that they've got a few things wrong with their heads. In any case, if you wish, we can traverse together until we find you a guardian and or someone you are familiar with.

[At least he believes her. She thinks. Which is a good thing. In prison or outside of it, she's not looking to get on the bad side of the association.]

T-That's all right. I don't need a guardian or anything.

[They're almost the same age, right?]

But I don't mind a tour. Or at least... to find a place I can at least sleep at if I'm to be here for more than a couple nights.

[She's still of the opinion that she'll manage to find a way out, somehow.]

[She relaxes a touch and nods. That sounds fine with her. It's best they explore their situation, and hunter or not, she appreciates the company. Moving in beside him, she's glad to walk.

She peers up at him as they move, though, tilting her head in curiosity.]

Aren't you anxious about this situation at all? I mean- something stronger than a vampire or pureblood has brought us here for reasons unknown.

[ Once she's at his side, he starts walking and looking around. Something like watching over a vampire seems rather typical for him right now and he doesn't find much trouble in engaging with them at all. She's not exactly the mean kind either.

He'll have to make more judgements as they continue to move along though. ]

Being anxious or uncertain breeds weakness. I'd rather not please them by feeling anxious. I certainly find this whole ordeal troubling and annoying, however. Of course, there isn't a doubt that there are always something stronger than Purebloods out there, don't you think? You just don't see them.

I'd rather find the source and eliminate it so we that we can all leave.

To be honest I hadn't considered it before.

[Outside of maybe a higher power- but when it comes to the heavens she isn't really sure what to think either.]

Over the past ten thousand years, nothing has made an appearance to make me think otherwise. At least until now... [And yet, she doesn't think she was dragged here simply because she was a pureblood, either.]

Have you found anything that might lead us to a clue that will help us escape?

It's something to be aware of. If you're close minded, you be mislead by everything around you.

[ He replies with a small shrug. Higher powers always exist. He always knew that but he didn't think he'd experience it quite like this to be honest. After a few more steps he speaks to her again. ]

Indeed, but I suppose that vampires live for a long time, such things are out of the question.

[ No. He doesn't think it's because of what they are that they're dragged here. \

I have yet to find a source, but asking those who are stuck here as well might be helpful.
