Day 375 — Open Video — Anniversary!
Um... [Look at this sheepish face, Marina!]

I guess I've been here a year today. I'm the first anniversary. I'm not sure if that's a good thing. Should I do something? Do I need balloons?

[If nothing else, be impressed with his mathing skills that he was able to figure out today is his one-year anniversary in the prison.]

Balloons? They're...balloons! [Yes, that was helpful, young king.]

Um, you know, they're that stretchy stuff that makes the weird sounds when you pull at it and then you blow it up and it gets bigger and then you have to tie it so the air stays inside and keeps it big.

Stretchy... I don't think I've ever seen anything like that. It sort of sounds like sky lanterns but it can't be that.

And of course. This place hasn't exactly had much of an opportunity to dedicate people to events or people, as such. Back home, most games got some sort of - well. They all got to be different.

Mmm, yeah, I think so. [It took awhile before he was aware of it, but somewhere along the line, probably after Tear disappeared for the second time, it occurred to him there wasn't anyone left who remembers the times before he arrived. You know, all 10 days of it.]

But that's usually what I say. I mean, I promised people a long time ago I'd get them home and they aren't even around to get home anymore. [Except that they are in that creepy basement or whatever it is.]
