[She releases a breath, feeling both relieved that she got to him and that he's responding in the affirmative, but also guilty for issuing an order. She has no right to be anyone's princess anymore and this is one of the more selfish ways she could use her sway over him. She hopes harming him wasn't on his mind, but if it was... Well, she's still sure it's not what he really wants. There was a time in the prison that things were very peaceful with the three of them. She knows it can be like that again.]

	It must be a lot to take in. I'm feeling a lot too, and I've been through it more than once. [That doesn't sound right. Saying she's "been through it" makes it sound like some kind of gauntlet. Maybe the part where she loses him does feel like that, but not the rest. Yes, I suppose I should. [It's not something she'd thought about yet partially because she couldn't imagine Aidan wanting her to be separated from her brother more, but now that she is thinking about it, she's a little worried. He's already spent so much time at Rebecca's that this might drive him away completely if only to give them all more space. Aidan had been there for her when everyone else had disappeared.]

I hope your talk with him goes well.

Perhaps. I suppose it's always a little different depending on what's going on and what a person remembers last. [There's a tiny pause.] I was different arriving and then when I returned. [She had no memories of the massacre at first. Others hid it from her, but then the prison revealed it. Seeing it play out before her eyes in video was horrifying, but returning fully engulfed in the memories was life changing.]

He's never mentioned that part to Euphie, has he? Maybe she knew, maybe she didn't. He has two more sectors until getting to Lelouch, anyway. ]

After you... after what he did to you - I couldn't just leave him be to go around and do more again. Not after what I was told about the Geass. I found him, and I captured him, and I - brought him before your father.

He rewrote Lelouch's memories and returned him to the Ashford Academy. Without Nunnally. Without remembering her. Without anyone there remembering her.

Lelouch had a little brother instead.

[ Charles zi Britannia may have placed the Geass upon Lelouch, but Suzaku knows who is responsible for that. Who Lelouch holds responsible, too. ]

[At first this just comes as one big surprise she's not sure how to parse, but then bits of it start making a certain amount of sense with other things that never really fit in stories she'd hear. She knew secrets had been kept from her, but knowing that was different from knowing what they were of course. But this? No wonder Suzaku had always carried himself with such heaviness and guilt. Compassion shows in her eyes as she looks through the feed.]

The brother... Was his name Rolo?

And I don't understand. How did father rewrite Lelouch's memories? Is something like that even... I was going to ask if it's possible, but that seems a strange question after being here, doesn't it? [How often have her own been rewritten by the wardens. Still, there are things possible here that surely weren't at home. But even these details which she wants to put together to make everything make more sense together seem minor compared to how it makes Suzaku feel or how Lelouch might react. What if he isn't from far enough along to have forgiven him? Maybe she should have tried ordering him not to hurt Suzaku as well.]

...How many others? [Lelouch and her father clearly, but are there more? Would Cornelia hide something like this from her? Nunnally? Schnizel? How many things has she blithely ignored as people were content to keep the truth from her? It's not just here when different times mesh together. It was at home too. She has always trusted them with their secrets, but now she wonders if it's been hurting them to let it go on this way. How much work and energy have they put in to protecting her when all she's ever wanted was to make them happy and be with them?]

[It's okay. She isn't sure what to make of that except that the name reminds her of C.C.. She might have even thought she'd simply misheard him if not for the description. There is something familiar about it. She can't place it, but maybe at some point she had caught a glimpse of him.]

It's hard to imagine any of this is real sometimes, and yet... I know how real it is. [She'll never forget the SAZ.]
