Um. Hello there. I’m Marinette. You all must get these posts a lot, but I’m new here and I just wanted to introduce myself.

[She gives a small wave to the camera and a careful cautious smile.]

I’m not sure what really got everyone here, but I’m looking forward to meeting you all and making friends.

[Of course, she was also eager to meet people and see if anyone had escaped from here, but she couldn’t just go blurting that out. This was a prison after all, and being that bold could earn her unwanted attention from the wrong people and the powers that be.]

I was a little in shock when I first arrived, so I didn’t catch a lot of the information that was transmitted. Is there anyone that has some time to give me a quick run down? I’d really appreciate it.

Oh! If there is a bakery somewhere maybe we could meet there?

[Marinette gives another smile, more warm than the cautious one when she introduced herself. With a small self nod she ends the transmission.]

There's a map in the device you're using. [ He maneuvers his own down, off his head; twists something that lets her see the incomm itself. Lelouch runs a finger over one of the buttons, clearly labeled 'map'. ]

That should let you find any bakeries nearby.

[Marinette jumps when Lelouch regards her. She listens to him and looks thoughtful as he shows off to her what she hadn't found yet. Even though she liked games and was fine using technology, exploring and trying to find a weakness in this place had caught her attention more.

As he shows her something she should have seen, she smiled gratefully.]

I guess I was just a little stunned at the situation. I hadn't even considered looking at the equipment yet.

[An oversight that Marinette could make. Ladybug was not allowed to do that. She mentally kicked herself as she watched Lelouch.]

Probably natural. [ His tone is an attempt at reassuring, really ] It's not everyday you wake up in an underwater prison-city run by two artificial intelligence programs determined to see you serve out a life sentence.

[ With a slightly self-deprecating smile: ] At least, it's definitely not my usual Tuesday routine.

[She thinks about the crimes that she was accused of. Part of her knows that being a superhero you have to do things that sometimes break laws to help for the greater good. Everything she had been accused of she had done at one time or another.

Well, at least from what Adrien told me we will be out of these jumpsuits by tomorrow. That will make things easier.

[That and making sure that Tikki was fed and talking to the kwami about the whole situation. She is still convinced partially this is just something that happened due to an Akuma attack.]

Did you just arrive too?

Ah, that's certainly a relief. I'd hate to spend the rest of my life in an orange polyester blend. [ Wry. Still, he's more concerned about the very fashionable blinking anklet. He'd thought it was a tracker, initially, but if it's the 'ball and chain' that's coming off soon... ]

[ Lelouch tunes back in, and smiles at her. ] I did, yes. Apparently this happens fairly frequently.

[ He's happy to share some of what he's learned with you. Just... not so much that it becomes obvious how hyper-observant he is. This is a prison, some of the people here are bound to be actually dangerous, and his geass isn't working. Best not to flash his remaining hand at every other player. ]

[She's not stupid, and because Lelouch has focused in, she starts to focus in too. Her eyes focus on the scenery around her and then she looks back to Lelouch as she smiles a bit forced.]

Obviously that's not the worst thing, but it would be great to fit in a little more. I don't want to attract the wrong kind of attention.

[Tapping a finger to her lips she tips her head back just so as she seems to contemplate her next words carefully. It would be harder to get the right kind of information pulling that much attention most likely. Settling in and blending in would be better for what she had in mind.]

I wonder who has been here the longest? I bet they have all sorts of tips.

An excellent question. I've spoken to two veterans, but... [ Rueful chuckle. ] Unfortunately, in their cases, neither of them actually remember their previous stays.

[ This bothers Lelouch. It bothers him a lot. But he's working to keep his face smooth. For their AI audience. ]

At least it doesn't seem to be a rough prison, so far.

	Well, that's definitely something to remember. [Did that happen so that they didn't remember how to leave? She would have to look into it later when she could transform and move around and ask more questions.] It is a prison, but everyone I've talked to doesn't exactly seem like they belong here.
