Day 374 - Dreaming Event - Open
Maybe Kitty had been up late reading the night before. That wasn't terribly unusual. It was, however, unusual for her to sleep late because she usually liked to get things done in the morning so she could stay up late reading later that night. Oops?

The team of teenage mutants engage the battlefield like pros. They coordinated in teams and maneuvered quickly through the area, avoiding obstacles and enemy attacks with skill and ease. Kitty was no different than her teammates, dodging, jumping, phasing through objects. It was like she was born for this, and considering her power was a genetic mutation, maybe she was.

Or maybe she wasn't. Suddenly, she yelps as she bumps a tree unexpectedly. That couldn't be right. She'd just gone through the one about 100 feet back. Maybe she'd been distracted. Which was all believable, and one would think she'd be back to normal before the next obstacle until she suddenly takes a hit and goes down.

Help?

Kitty felt good today. She was wearing her newest outfit and headed to school. She walked confidently through the halls, waving as people stared. Surely they were admiring her new look. Sure, it was different for her, but it was all good. The people at the store had assured her that she looked great.

It was pretty obvious she had no idea she was naked, yet. Will you be the one to tell her?

Everyone dreamt of a happy ever after, right? Sure. And things looked like they had been headed that way. But life sometimes took a turn for the worse, leaving people reeling in its wake. Kitty was staring at the smoking rubble of a large red brick building. She was devastated. What had gone wrong? Who had figured it out?

But there was no stopping it now. It had already happened.

There was no more School for Gifted Children.
