[Bitty dragon]

[Trespassers were forbidden from entering the Village of Hakuryuu. Anyone who got too near and made it past the fog was ordinarily stopped. There were the occasional few who slipped past, but they were normally found and taken care of. That was why just on the outskirts of the village, the young four year old Kija was surprised when he collided head first with someone he didn't recognize.

Falling backwards from the impact, he blinked up in surprise-- before he remembered himself. Rising up to his feet quickly, his white scaled claw lifted at the ready, and he faced off with the stranger.]

Who are you? And what do you want with our village?

[He shakes his head and props himself up straighter upon Jae-Ha's back.]

I must protect my village! I'll make sure that until the day that he comes, I wont let anyone hurt this place. [While he definitely would like to see the ocean or go exploring, it's clear that from the conviction in his voice he finds this to be important, and that it's something he absolutely wants to do.]

Everyone is always taking care of me. It is important to me to do the same in return. I am very grateful for the many blessings I have received. [He's... actually mature for his age in some ways? Or maybe he really just hasn't changed much since his younger self.] I know that I am very fortunate. [He may be spoiled by those in his village, but he doesn't take it for granted. Even with the situation of his father.

Leaning over excitedly to find his face again, he beams with a cheerful smile.]

And because I was here, now I have met the Green Dragon! [He has always found the stories of the green dragon to be incredible!]

I will be happy if you just tell me about the ocean and things. I heard that there are monster fish in the ocean. That they can be as big as.... [He pauses to consider Jae-Ha and glances from his feet to his head.]

They can be as big as you!

[And it's that very conviction that has Jae-Ha not saying a word. Not that he would to someone so young, but even so. He's long since reached the point where harbors respect for him. He doesn't agree with some of Kija's ideals for himself, but that's exactly it: it's not about him.]

Well, I'm sure you'll achieve all of these things, and that you'll grow up well.

[He laughs] I'm glad to provide. ♥♥

That's true! I've heard of sharks and whales. The former are said to have many razor sharp teeth. While I'd love to see one up close, as it must be a magnificent sight, I'm glad that I haven't. I may be a risk taker, but that would be a bit too much. It's different than encountering a beast on dry land, such as a bear, as I can simply jump out of the way. Being in the water can be one of my greatest weaknesses, I must confess.

I could take on a bear! [Proclaimed so confidently.]

Jump us down and if we find one I can show you! [He is ready to take on a bear, just watch him! He pats Jae-Ha on the head, however.]

And don't worry. I can teach you how to swim. [He's taking his weakness comment the wrong way. He lowers his voice as though he has a secret to share.] I always sneak away from the village to go and bathe. So I've practiced lots of swimming in the lake.

That's right, I hadn't mentioned! I've spent many years aboard a ship as a pirate. [And will forever see himself as one. All dragon things aside, it's in his blood.] So naturally I do know how to swim. I'm rather good at it, too. But thank you for the offer, of course.

I've heard they're usually a rowdy bunch of men who enjoy stealing, killing, and cause a lot of problems.

[Like rape and human trafficking. BUT- ]

However-! You could say I'm of a unique group. Me and the crew, along with our amazing Captain, we helped to aid Awa Port and its citizens where we're stationed. It's really fun, I must say. ♥

[Something he really misses, too. He would never simply return to it and leave Kija, Yona, and the others, though. Absolutely not.]

[He nods, confidently taking a step forward... before he pauses.]

I think that... it would be better to sneak into my house first. And from there for me to get Granny. It might be easier that way. [He makes a hushing gesture.] So we should be quiet. But do not worry. I am really good at being quiet. I sneak away all of the time to go bathe on my own. So stick close to me. Otherwise your green hair will stand out a lot.

[All of which is a very good idea. Although he can't imagine any of the villagers will attack without a second glance, especially as he'll be with Kija, something still may happen.]

I can be plenty silent. No worries there.

[He could simply leap away, as he's done plenty of times in the past. Especially when stealing. Kija doesn't need to know that part.]

[At those last words, while there's a small moment of surprise, he seems to swell up happily. "I trust you". One of the other dragons trusts him. Nearly sparkling he nods.]

Okay! We'll sneak around from the side. [Lifting a hand up, he points to what is clearly the largest house within the village, and is practically the center piece.] I live in there! It... [He frowns.] Once we get close it will be a little more difficult to remain hidden. No one would think it strange for me to be there, but people usually stop what they are doing if they see me. [A respect kind of thing.]

. . . I think it's probably easiest if we go along the mountain side path, since the only other option would be going through town. [There are a few hidden tunnels that lead up to his house, but-- they're supposed to be for an emergency and evacuation. He doesn't want to abuse that.]

If we're not quick once there, though, we'll probably be seen.

[Oh. He knows.

His gaze follows Kija's direction. The house it plenty impressive (and quite obviously holding no comparison next to the "house" he spent half of his life in. The ship, too, is a different sort of residence.]

I can do exactly that.

[Spoken as he take a few moments to commit the location and what path he'll take to memory. There are enough trees present that it shouldn't be especially difficult. Or so he's hoping at least. Shin-Ah's ability would be really handy right about now.

He adjusts his arms a bit to better secure the other. It really isn't much of a challenge, considering how many times he's already carried the adult Kija. He also makes sure to add: ]

Now then. Hold on tight, Kija-kun.

It's quickly enough that anyone down below may take it as a bird or the like, although of course it's also possible they'll be seen. [T-That was truly an incredible experience! The whole time it felt like his stomach was dropping out from under him, but at the same time it had been exciting. He's not even sure how to describe it.

Once he helps Kija back onto his own feet, however, he moves inside to glance around.]

It is clear. [So it should be safe for him to come in. Running into the middle of the wide, spacious room he spreads his arms out to either side when Jae-Ha moves in.]

Welcome to my house! [The picture of excitement he looks up to him expectantly. What does he think, what does he think?]

[Naturally so. The ryokuryuu aside, he sensation of flying is only something the birds ever get to experience. He's special in those regards.

He takes a good look around when they're in the room.

. . .And can't help that it's very much on the gaudy side.

He couldn't possibly hurt Kija's feelings, though. Or to tease the way he does with the current Kija.

So he just chuckles and appears pleased.]

Very impressive! It seems so large for just a single person. I'm reminded of a castle, really.

[He crosses over to his room, where his bed and clothes are.] You can sleep here in my place! Ryokuryuu must be treated as one of the highest guests of honor. Well, your castle is wherever you make it to be.

[While Kija's manner of speaking, his words chosen, don't leave Jae-Ha embittered, they do stir up a sense of indifference. Kija's upbringing was the most privileged out of all four dragons, and by such a great amount. That's just how it is. It isn't something Jae-Ha even thinks of anymore, and yet, still, this experience has those feelings resurfacing a bit.

He doesn't let them show at all.

Although- ]

A-Ah. . . I really don't need such a grand gesture, Kija-kun. [Even though he knows he's said this a number of times already.] But I suppose I can indulge in a good meal and a comfortable bed.
