[This has been an ... interesting day, to say the least. Damon's mood has been spiraling between rage, confusion, despair, a weird giddy joy that at least there are other people around, and guilt. It's made him pretty tetchy.]

[You’ll have to forgive him; he’s in a bit of a mood. Watching your best friend sacrifice herself so you could escape a prison world and reunite with your girlfriend and then finding yourself in a different prison world instead will do that to you.
