[This is so freakin' awkward for so many reasons. Kanji barely knows Nathan and plus there's all the awkwardness from yesterday. Moatly he's spent today wishing a hole would open up in the floor and swallow him but he's gotta be a man about this, dammit! He needs to clear the air and make sure Nathan knows nothing is up with him and Euphie.]

[Want to interact with Kanji today? If you do you'll need to find him since he's going to be hiding in his apartment all day. He won't admit it to Euphie but he's pretty not cool with having the Wardens manipulate who and what he likes the way they did yesterday. It makes him feel messed up and uncomfortable and weird and like there probably is something wrong with him after all if they had to work so hard to change him and make him normal. He's not usually one to talk about his feelings but today you might actually be able to get him to.]

Oh. [Wow he did not think of it that way. He gives it some consideration, trying to decide what he wants to say and how he wants to say it. Mochi hops over to give the cuff of Nico's pants a curious nibble while he thinks.] Okay, so remember how I said when you get thrown in the TV you face your Shadow and its the part of yourself you hide? Its more'n that. Its like this whole little world forms around you and kinda reflects you. Like Naoto, she really wants the police force to take her seriously right? So to find her we fought through this maze that was kinda like some sort of secret base in an action movie. Does that make sense? And then your Shadow is in the middle of it all and it looks like you except its not. Its all the stuff you bottle up and hide, so like Rise really wants people to see who she actually is so hers was like, this stripper that wouldn't shut up about making people look at her. With me so far?

[Deep breath, here goes. Shit even just the memory is embarrassing.] Okay, so mine was this, um, this real steamy bathhouse and my Shadow was runnin' around yellin' about being scared of girls and into guys and all that crap. He was kinda a dick. But he made some good points and he said stuff I dunno how to say, like how a lotta the stuff I like is pretty girly and people have always given me crap for it and everything. My dad's dead, right? So I gotta be the man of the house or whatever except how are you supposed to be tough and manly if you're like me? He was kinda like all that stuff I think about and don't like about myself walking around with my face on and then when I yelled at him he turned into a monster and fought my friends. At the end though I talked to him and we're okay now and even though he pisses me off he said all the stuff that makes me feel like I'm not normal that I don't know how to say. So that's my weakness, you know? Its not about what I like in the end, its about not fitting in. That's what makes me feel like I ain't normal.

Yeah. [He doesn't feel like he needs to add anything to that since Nico said it pretty damn well. He cares about his friends at home and they're always gonna be friends but it wouldn't have happened without the case. The friends he's got here he made on his own and he's never done that before.] Sorry I was kinda a dick earlier. I'm real happy for you and Yuuri. How'd it even happen, anyway?
