[Here's Percy looking pale and a bit... off. It's been a rough morning. One minute he's falling asleep in prison, then the next minute he's fighting the goddess of victory (and nearly dying), and then fighting Polybotes (and nearly dying again), before waking up in prison, right where he'd left off. But there was no way it had just been a dream.

When he speaks, his voice is hoarse like he'd been through a nasty coughing fit. The poison Polybotes had used against him hadn't been a joke and the experience was still fresh in his mind. Just thinking about it was enough to nearly send Percy back to choking and gagging.]

Okay, woke up confused and in pain. [A slight wince as he puts a hand against his throat as if that'll help.] I seriously don't know what's going on right now. Kind of having trouble figuring things out and my memories are all over the place.

[Nothing new for him.]

I'm, like, a decent percent sure that I'm not dying, at least. I mean, I could be wrong, but I sure hope not. I'd hate to die in this thing.

[Ah, yes. The dreaded orange jumpsuit is back.] Nico, we might need a sequel to that first shopping trip we had.

[ He sighs. ] I appreciate what you're tryin' to do, but I really don't know what to say. It sucked. It's over an' there ain't nothin' I can do to change what happened. I don't know that talkin' about it will do anything, you know?

[ More like he's deathly afraid of looking back on all the highly questionable things he did during that time so it's easier to just look forward to the next hurdle and ignore the constant panic gnawing at his belly right alongside the strange comfort of knowing there's little chance he'll make it out of the confrontation with Jethro alive. ]

Alright, cool. [Except his tone doesn't make it sound like it's actually cool. He's concerned now. He's always had that problem of sticking his nose in business that isn't his.]

I'm kind of the same, I guess? In that... I don't know if talking about what I've been through will do any good, but... [Falters as he figures out what to say.] I think it might be worth a try if the opportunity ever presents itself. Since, you know, nothing else really works.
