[So. There it is. His own little store.

Nico isn't entirely sure what he's supposed to do with it. It was a spur of the moment decision. He already picked up some supplies to make signage. Poster board and markers. This was not going to be fancy place, no sir. He would have done this yesterday, but thanks to the anomaly, he'd forgotten about it.

He's going to need product as well. Which means he should probably make some kind of announcement. Ugh.]

I've, um, opened a store for second hand goods in Sector 3, so if you've got any items you no longer need or want, I'd be happy to take them off your hands...

[Nico can be found at the shop most of the day, cursing over signs, accepting donations, scratching his head over what he's got himself into, or maybe dozing off when it gets too quiet.]

[Most people ask all kinds of questions, like they actually care. He's not always comfortable with it. He's not good with social interaction either. So he's actually very okay when she doesn't say anything. It makes him nervous at first, and he checks every so often to make sure she's okay, and that she hasn't decided to just up and leave. He wouldn't blame her if she did.

He's putting away the last of what he has so far on the shelves when she approaches.]

Yeah... Yeah, they're perfect.

[It's far better than anything he could have done. He smiles. And for once, it's not a pearl-forced smile.]

Apparently. I only have a few things myself.

[A habit picked up from living out of a backpack. Even with his own room in the apartment, he only had enough to fill one drawer in a dresser.]

But I guess when everything is free, it's easy to get more stuff. And there are also the people ... leave. After a while, something would have to be done about their stuff, right?

I had a friend once... called Ludo. He was this big shaggy monster thing who could talk to rocks. And a lot of people were scared of him because big scary monster... but he was really nice. And he saved us from all sorts of things. Especially when the bridge over the Bog of Eternal Stench had collapsed and I was hanging for my life from a vine. See... the if you touch the Bog of Eternal Stench, you'll smell bad FOREVER! But he called the rocks and I was able to get across without touching the Bog...

Huh. [It's the most eloquent thing he can manage. He was knife's edge away from panic - and it wasn't her fault. She didn't do anything wrong. But he wouldn't know how to tell her that.

He doesn't really hear the first part of what she says. It's just a murmur that overlaps the blood rushing through his ears. But he's able to focus on it. He releases the death grip on the the shirt.]

Mmhm. The rocks and all. But I don't really know what happened next because I was hungry and Hoggle gave me a peach. And then next then I know I was in a bubble dressed in a fancy ball gown. It was like a dream you know? And I was looking for someone. I thought I'd found him. This really creepy guy who looked like Jareth the Goblin King. But then a clock rang and I realized it wasn't Jareth I was looking for but Toby my brother. So I broke the bubble with a chair and I fell... and then I ended up here.
