DAY 276 ☠ CLOSED ACTION
[Yesterday was a pretty draining day. Sougo had spent the day holding back any of the negative thoughts and feelings he experienced with Lacus being back, however temporary it was. It was hard to trust this place. After all, he had seen his sister twice before, but she had disappeared the very next day. It was the same with Sasha; after she had disappeared from the prison for some time, she had returned for 24-hours. How could he not assume that it would be the same with Lacus? It didn't seem like it was normal for people to actually return, at least not to him.

He sat on edge of his bed with his blanket wrapped around his body and over his head, as if it were some kind of robe. Meh. To deal with the day or not. There was almost nothing worse than feeling like actually building friendships here was a waste, since of the very few friends he had made, he was down to just Aidan.

After a mental debate and some groaning to himself, he decides that the last thing he wanted to be was a wimp, so he groggily walks out of his room, blanket and all, into the kitchen for a bite to eat.]

[Lacus isn't entirely sure if moving back in is the best thing for all of them what with her new memories and her strange interaction with Aidan yesterday. She's not opposed to it certainly, she's never fond of living alone. But she went back for the night at least, since having that particular conversation with Sougo could wait until they were all sure she was staying for more than a day; it wasn't worth upsetting him otherwise.]

[When she woke in her bed in the dome, and made sure that it was Day 276 in fact, Lacus decided to begin the day as she would any other: making breakfast for the household. With accounting for her new memories it's been some time since she cooked, so she sets herself to making a rather large breakfast: waffles, omelets, fruit salad, and fresh juice. She hums softly while she works, not wishing to awaken anyone who might be sleeping. The nausea and disorientation makes it slower going than usual. Nothing she can't handle.]

[Once she establishes to Sougo that she's not vanishing (at least not today, she thinks), they'll get into the nitty gritty of where she should live.]

[Lacus' affection. Very much missed indeed. It reminds him of a conversation from the other day.]

You know what's sad? [Not that he really wants to get into sad topics, but it seemed appropriate.] Aidan and I had a talk the other day about how much better it is being here than at home... at least for us. I'm sure there are people who disagree. But when you think about it... here you can see people, even if it's only temporary. At home, when you lose someone forever, that's it. There's no more chances, ever. You're also more likely to die or be killed back home than you are in this place. But I'm not sure if maybe we've just become so jaded that we're thinking that way.

I don't think it's a bad way to look at it. Despite the things here that are uncomfortable, there are also things that make it tolerable.

I'm sad to hear that Aidan's home life has gotten so hard, however. And that yours was.

[He picks up a fork to start cutting into his food, but just as he goes to do that he stares at her for a little while.]

You're still living with us again, right? You're still here, so that means everything is back to normal, right?

[It seemed to make sense to him, because this was her home, and she was here making breakfast like any other day she was here. But he felt compelled to ask, because her having new memories could mean anything.]

[Lacus has a small fruit plate for herself, not feeling very hungry still with her head swimming in new memories and old ones.] I thought we should discuss that, now that it's clear I'm not here only for one day.

I know you would like me to move back in straight away. I would like to as well. I have some new perspectives thanks to having new memories from home, however, that are a little upsetting, and it seems like Aidan is having some troubles. I don't know what would be best for everyone.

[It's more difficult for her, certainly, knowing she left and he kept her room for her. [He lets out an aggravated sigh!]

When Euphie moved in he got all weird and annoying and avoided sleep the very beginning of her livin' with us. I told him he should sleep and if not go to a doctor to help him sleep, but he kept being stubborn so I told him I'd punch him in the face to knock him out so he'd get sleep. He told me to punch him in the face, so I did. Then he punched me back. That wasn't part of the deal! I was doing him a solid, though he didn't see it that way. We resorted to booze.
