No. Well, yes. [ clearly this involves more explanation. ] Where I'm from, vampires are made after a human drinks a vampire's blood and then they have to die. After, they wake up in transition and it's either feed on human blood and become a vampire or fade away.

I - got hurt. [ she was taken, actually, against her will. hurt badly in the process. ] I was given vampire blood to heal. [ she moseys further into the apartment, wrings her hands somewhat. it's not a memory she likes to recall: drowning. again. ] But I died... anyway. I drowned. That's when I woke up here. And I chose to turn rather than die.
