[It won't take long before he realizes the hunger he feels isn't going to be sated with a salad. He can go one day without blood, right? It's not like he hasn't craved it before—demon flavored in that case, but still blood. He just needs to stay away from people. Easier said than done though. He needs to at least go put a class is cancelled sign on the room where they meet for Paranormal Studies which means a lot of walking across the dome and smelling everything.]

It... it has to be difficult trying to keep track of all these different types of creatures for you.

[His instinct is to say it's worse because this craving was stimulating his not-so-distantly-in-the-past demon blood addiction. Like a recovering alcoholic suddenly needing alcohol to survive. Sustenance and vice all in one and a little demon inside encouraging the darkest of his impulses along the way. But it's not a fair assessment. He doesn't know what the cravings are like for Elena. They have to be bad considering how close she came to feeding on him not so long ago.]

It's not easy. Either part. Have you...? [How do you ask someone if they've been drinking blood?]

Elena gave me blood bags... [She looks uncomfortable. And disgusted.] I didn't want to, but she said it was necessary.

I have to admit... it's a bit of a relief. Not wanting to attack you.
