[Chuckling under his breath.] So when're you coming by?

[Tyki Mikk's at the Devil's Compass for a while today, seemingly packing up a few bottles of varied spirits into a small wooden crate and stuffing other assorted oddities in as well. He'd gotten the idea of taking to Sector 6 for a while. To get a look around and find some semblance of peace perhaps in the only seemingly unexplored part of the dome to him. Some change in a routine of bar wiping and card tossing. He yearns to use his hands to build something, do some sort of manual labor and that's exactly what he'll do there.

But for now he's just packing a few useful things, and picking up a few tools and the like from various shops. He can be found across the dome if not in the Compass, carrying some things in the direction of Marina Nova's sixth sector.]

[ Even though you can only make so many pies, Chuck's been making a habit of hanging out at the Compass. It feels like home, to whatever degree a place like this can feel like home without actually being built like a giant pie and when she doesn't have a reason to bake, she can at least clean tables or pretend to bartend.

Today is pie baking day though. Less customers means more of a need to find new recipes. There may have been libraries involved. ]

[Wait, what? Why are hugs suddenly involved? He blinks, looking at her from his seat for a beat trying to decipher just that. But rather than stand he leans on his elbow, chin in palm. If he's going to disappear for a while, indefinitely at this rate, he might as well just say what's on his mind instead of dancing around it. Worst case he'll have a better reason to stay put in the jungle, right?]

[ Hugs should always be involved, to be honest. Hugs are great. Hugs make everything feel better. She didn't expect that kind of answer though and for a moment she's very clearly hesitating with the answer, mind reeling just as hard as he was with deciphering all this. He's joking, right? It's just... for fun? He knows she has a boyfriend so why would he..? And why isn't she saying no?

So many confusing feelings lately. She could really do without all this. In the end she laughs a little awkwardly, deciding to take it less than serious. ]

[ She suppresses the nervous flutter that's threatening to swell into her stomach, moving closer with as much confidence as she can muster. There's a choice here and the alternative isn't getting horribly squished, which makes this all the more dangerous. She's doing this because she wants to. Not has to.

Nonetheless she steps in, lifts a hand to brush along Tyki's cheek. Hesitates. ]
