Rowan groaned in pain, having been forcefully woken up by hitting the ground. That was a first for him. He had a queen sized bed, how did he end up on the ground? Pushing himself up to a sitting position, he looked around. Oh, that's why he was on the ground. Who's bright idea was it for him to sleep on a park bench? Wait, why was he in a park, and not at home? Did he have one too many drinks and just passed out somewhere? Oh this was making his head hurt...

And then the welcome message. He managed to get through the opening statements, but when the list of his supposed crimes came up, he was done. So done. He pulled the communicator off of his face, then sat there staring at the strange device, contemplating everything and muttering to himself.

"Crazy technology, overalls ripped off from every prison show ever, waking up in the middle of a park with no knowledge of how I got here... Clearly, either someone is really good at coming up with elaborate pranks, or I've gone crazy."

	[Oh, gods, he asked how...Uhm.] Complicated in that she was born before me, but died when she was thirteen, and about six months ago I found her in the Underworld and brought her back to life. So, technically, she's older. Physically, she's younger. And ... I know she'll be fine without me. She has her boyfriend. And everyone else. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Okay, yup, definitely complicated.

"Okay, wait, let me get this straight. You're telling me that you went to the Underworld, the land of the dead in many different religions and mythologies, and you brought someone back to life. And earlier you said you're the son of Hades. Like, actual god of death, Lord of the Underworld Hades?"

He could believe talking to dead people. He really could. But he barely believed in there being anything supernatural in the world, never mind gods. This was all just so confusing, especially on top of being dropped in the middle of nowhere, probably not even on Earth anymore.

[Anyway.] The Doors of Death happened to be open at the time [There's actually more to it than that.], so all she really had to do was ... walk out.

[He squirmed a bit.] Yeah, so. My dad's a god?

	Gods exist, yeah. It's really best not to think too hard on it. [He smiled a little.] Greek and Roman gods are one and the same. Like, my father is Hades, but my sister is a daughter of Pluto. 	Nope, not scary or ugly. Small? Cute. Constant bedhead? Adorable. The bags under his eyes just made Rowan want to shove him into a bed and not let him up until he had a full night's sleep.
