Rowan groaned in pain, having been forcefully woken up by hitting the ground. That was a first for him. He had a queen sized bed, how did he end up on the ground? Pushing himself up to a sitting position, he looked around. Oh, that's why he was on the ground. Who's bright idea was it for him to sleep on a park bench? Wait, why was he in a park, and not at home? Did he have one too many drinks and just passed out somewhere? Oh this was making his head hurt...

And then the welcome message. He managed to get through the opening statements, but when the list of his supposed crimes came up, he was done. So done. He pulled the communicator off of his face, then sat there staring at the strange device, contemplating everything and muttering to himself.

"Crazy technology, overalls ripped off from every prison show ever, waking up in the middle of a park with no knowledge of how I got here... Clearly, either someone is really good at coming up with elaborate pranks, or I've gone crazy."

	Well, at least he wasn't alone in this place. Though he wasn't sure how friendly this person was. "If by special occasion, you mean I woke up somewhere other than where I was expecting to, sure. Yeah, he was a little bit miffed that nobody really ever thinks about Canada. It was always all about the US. And why would he expect to wake up somewhere other than Earth? That was crazy talk. Or this person was just obsessed with sci-fi/fantasy to an insane degree.

He didn't really care about the answer, beyond trying to understand a little more about this place that he mysteriously woke up in. He was pretty sure he wouldn't really understand the answer anyways, since he didn't recognize the name of the ocean the dome sat under.
